mxtech1 Added a reply to Harley Davidson back in the MX game

lol, we don't have to grade HD on a curve though. I feel like this is longstanding mindset of the HD loyalist that never want to look outside the HD brand for better bikes for less money. At the end of the day, HD is competing for market share against other OEMs. That means they get compared to their competition...

Downside is that it adds a lot of hours of maintenance to your weekly routine. Mowing, trimming weeds, cultivating, fixing ruts and washouts primarily. I wouldn't call it "work" because I always enjoyed doing that type of labor, but it does tend to consume a lot of hours if you want a pristine track. If I had to do it...

Model planes and flying clubs have really tanked over the last decade. Primarily due to the rising popularity of drones and FPV flying technology.

To be honest, if you politely contact those “dude ranches” and explained to them you are an environmentally conscious off-road rider you might be surprised if they open their gates for you to explore on. Not saying it’s a for sure thing, but it’s worth an email or phone call.

It’s a supply management miracle that you were able to flip a switch and reduce your “backorders” by 80% in such a short time period, ironically at the same time(ish) you are transitioning back into Vital and also now done with the race team. Those no-good suppliers must have finally received in your run of the mill small quantities of...

First off, thanks to everyone above who recommended us, it’s awesome to see so much good feedback about our products! Twisting of the KTM/Husky stock bar mounts is a real issue for most riders. There are various aftermarket bar mounts available to fix this problem. Most work well, but they each have their pros and cons. Engineering a good set of bar mounts (or anything, really) is all about compromise, or more specifically, making the right compromise for your overall design goals. One fitting example of this compromise is the number of pinch bolts used. We use a “traditional” four...

The design is engineered and tested to say the 90th percentile use customer. Racing for 30+ minutes at professional speed, with race gas, and in 100+ degree ambient is called a corner condition. Design engineers at the OEMs would be aware of the failures that are occurring, but it's not a large enough failure rate to drive a design change...

I HIGHLY doubt they will be using a Suzuki engine. Not sure if you guys follow sport bike racing/development, but Triumph makes a damn good super bike motor and that has good power and also outstanding durability. And this is up against the giants like Ducati, Aprilia, Yamaha, etc. They have the know-how to build a potent 250, 350, or...
