I'm guessing these fees will kill a lot of the privateer YouTube vlogs. Privateers trying to get as much exposure as possible for the guys that help them go racing, nope, we can't have that. 🙄 For the factory teams/riders it's just another expense/write off. Sucks, but they have deeper pockets. IMO, it's still not right.

Talked to two OEM heads of racing that care a lot, as the costs in these guidelines will affect everything they get to market their teams, riders, sponsors, etc.

It will be interesting to see if there's any push back from the manufacturers and aftermarket who, for advertising purposes, collectively have millions invested in the race teams and riders. While editorial photos are important, photographers--many of whom are connected to and shooting for companies in the industry--go to the races with a laundry list of very specific images these companies need for their upcoming advertising and catalogues. Good example of how people get fooled into being distracted by culture wars stories, rather than seeing what the real issue is. The decline in customer service is a direct result of companies trying to extract as much money as possible while doing less and less. Part of the reason for the automated menu systems is all the AI automated spam calls. We would get between 30 and 50 calls per day that we had to answer, it was time consuming and would make you not want to answer the phone with a smile. We had menu system installed, not one spammer has gotten through. What a relief. So, blame spammers for small business automated answering systems.

No pinch bolt on KTM clamps? Damn I might need to order another set. I cannot stand the pinch bolt design.

The first time i pulled my 450 Husky apart, to fit ICE Parts SM clamps, i could not believe it. There is no way the pinch bolt design is an improvement, it creates a massive potential failure point.
