Febvre is 34(?) years old so i doubt he can challenge him. But Gajser should be able to do it again, he is 2 years younger than Herlings. But the Yamaha move has been a disaster. I think KTM should do whatever they can to get Gajser to sign for them.

KDW and Vialle are the only guys on the horizon that can come up and challenge him in the next three years. Will TiGa or Febvre regain their form? Huge opportunity and question marks on how much longer he wants to do this. Like Tomac, Jeffery exceeded my expectations on the new bike. Unlike Tomac please don’t retire.

Seeing him ride from trackside instead of watching on TV is special. He looks better on the Honda than he did last year on the KTM. He is visibly faster and more aggressive than everyone else. Guys who have not been to an MXGP need to see it in person before Herlings retires. I just wish I could have seen Herlings and Coenan race each other person before Lucas got hurt, now we may never see that again.

Vialle continues to improve his 450 game too.

Dude is a badass for sure. While injuries may have cost him a few championships, I think he takes too much heat for staying down in MX2 too long. KTM was winning everything with Cairoli in MXGP and they kept Jeffrey in MX2 beyond his expiration date to keep winning everything there, too. Not the dude's fault. He's one of the greats.

How he’s gone 1-1-1 for weeks straight is unreal: Also on championship day, still went 1-1-1 Contrast his 1-1-1 GP weekend vs so many other guys somewhat fall apart and manage their title clinching days, sometimes fading/nursing it all the way back to say 10-15th just to get the minimum points needed. Dominant. Unbothered.

With no Coenen's he could do the same thing next year and I wouldn't be surprised.

No need to rank any of the greats. They all dominated in their era. Multi time champions across moto and supercross, all bad dudes on a dirt bike!

My take is that as a media presenter and an insider to the sport, he has an obligation to ask and find out the truth, or apparent truth and to make it known. In the days after the race, plenty of evidence in the form of video footage, comments from the team post-practice, post race 1 and additional treatment between races has come out that Jet is actually hurt. He's cancelled a big payday from SMX, citing the need for further ankle treatment after the Ironman race, where he hurt it again. Sure, the race itself left room for interpretation...

Points aside, I just looked at the overall head to head results. Haiden versus Jorge. Jorge beat Haiden in six of the eleven races overall. So if Haiden had an excellent season.....What did Jorge have? How about the Lawrences? If Haiden could ride as fast as he runs his mouth....
