I rolled my ankle second quarter of a high school football game. Ankle was purple and I couldn’t put weight on it. Trainer taped it and said he would “lock my heel in” whatever that meant. I played the rest of the game and ran on it like nothing happened. It was said they went back to the normal peg because he needed more flex from his ankle to ride more like he used to. Hurts ankle again. They said they taped it so he basically couldn’t move it. Gave him a shot. Rides much faster. Apply a little common...

Larger diameter shock shaft would take more force to compress. Imagine entering a swimming pool via cannonball vs dive, changing your body's diameter changes the force needed to enter the water, measurable by the amount of water displaced.

" I'd rather the riders get more time off." Ask Pierce Brown if he'd rather have the extra time off, or the $180k he got for winning the final round a couple of years ago.

When I was a kid there was a photo of Billy Payne Sr. on a Maico floating off a downhill jump with hair floating out of the back of his helmet. It summed up everything I wanted to be and do! It was in a magazine in the 70s and I wish I had that photo. I talked to him...

Not too proud to admit when I don’t know something 🤷‍♂️

There are people that aren't smart enough to use the belt if it was voluntary. The cost for society for such idiots in case of accidents shouldn't be carried by the rest of us. So if you are fine with medic leaving you as is when they come to a scene and see you didn't use it, I'm also ok with it being voluntary.

Lewis Phillips said he fears this may be another nail in the MXoN coffin... i disagree. So save for the tech advances in Helmets, MX gear is utter shit compared to what you could buy 40+ years ago. Gloves... Zero Protection at all, JT Flexon gloves were some of the best for comfort and protection. JT V2000, one of the best Body Armours ever made, i still wear one now, great shoulder and collarbone protection, and it also gives protection to head/neck hyperextension as well. Helmets. Yes they are ' better' but the Bell Moto 4 had removable lining, and...

Jet rode below par - we all saw that. This was explained as being the result of an aggravated injury. I listed actual facts that back up this explanation. List the alternate facts that make the “throw the race” scenario more likely, and not just a “conspiracy theory” for the gullible.

That’s the only thing that’s puzzling me. All I could think of is that Jett did a practice session with a regular peg and liked the freedom of movement, so he decided he was strong enough to run it? Then he hyperextended his ankle during moto 1 and painfully found out he wasn’t strong enough? I guess that’s too mundane when there’s a ton of clickbait conspiracy theories going around.

Yeah, because the best place to be in a bad car crash is violently thrown out of a window instead of inside a cage with airbags that are designed by really smart people to limit the damage as best as possible.

It wasn't just one injury though. I think he broke his ankle at the beginning of 2019, which made him miss half the season. Then right after he just came back someone (idk if it was Seewer or Jasikonas) ran over his foot again at a sighting lap and he was out again. He looked like the worst version of himself when he came back for the last couple of races (also too early I think, so understandable). 2020 he actually looked kinda good after his return, just got back into the groove and then had a massive crash which...

Never question someone’s integrity when it comes to health. If you’ve experienced it, it really pisses you off.
