7/1/2026 5:02am i disagree, the 450 move was long overdue, and gives him the opportunity to ride with a bit more finesse, instead of the balls out style you have to have on a 250. It should have been good for him, but 'fast between crashes' isnt something that you can keep doing. Having the 'belief that you can still win', and being able to do it, are not the same.

6/30/2026 7:12pm People complaining about this dudes premium parking. Wait till they sign up for Lorettas and see its $878 for camping and wrist bands. Then $250 a class, $200 an extra vehicle, and $125 for a pit vehicle lol.

6/29/2026 8:36pm Regardless, how is it acceptable for people that didn't make it through the area qualifier to pay money and line up for an event that is supposed to be qualified for? Rain has no effect on that. That's the point, there wouldn't be multiple divisions of a class that only 40 kids should be qualified for if some entity wasn't money hungry and trying to siphon every dollar they can out of these events. All amateur motocross is suffering because of these things. Too many classes, too many participation trophies, and too many sandbaggers. All in the name of the...

6/29/2026 8:35pm In order that I’m most likely to listen on a regular basis: Vital race review (US Nationals annd MXGP) and Matthes race review. ML and Lewis are bit more analytical; Steve, Weege and JT a bit more on the opinion side. Live Motocross race review. Some good honest review and opinions. Blair Matthes project. Blair has a lot of good insights. PulpMX (if there’s a good guest list and co-host). I tend to skip through a lot to get to the parts I like. Beyond that if I’m bored I’ll sometimes listen to LVK, or Daniel Blair’s show. I’ve pretty...

6/29/2026 6:28pm If one of those spectators had hit their head on a rock a bit harder and died, or been permanently disabled, or if they'd gotten something torn off by the chain on a quad, this would be an entirely different conversation.....

1 day ago What was the problem at triumph? Too many chefs in the kitchen? From the outside it seemed like their biggest issue was keeping guys healthy but whatever the interpersonal stuff is must have gotten bad with the way people have talked about it lately. And do we owe savatgy and ferry an apology?

1 day ago Pretty sure there's been big settlements paid out over railroad crossings that weren't marked or that didn't have adequate signals!

1 day ago Ribbons or something? I think they'd have a hard time arguing that they actually care if people are on the track. I really don't know how the law would look at it, does some ribbon and fine print when you buy your ticket carry more weight than a culture where being on the track is the accepted norm? Kind of...

1 day ago In my view this hurts them more than it helps. It might as well say nothing about the issue. Stay off the track, but we don't mark the track because someone might decide to make the track go someplace new that you didn't know was going to become the track. Stay off the track unless you think it's safe to...

6/29/2026 8:56am Serious question, how much effort does the AMA put into helping Harley riders not wear helmets versus keeping tracks and trails open for us. I have ridden for 50 years, and have repeatedly been told to support the AMA, yet I fail to see them put any effort into my end of the sport. I worked with my states department of natural resources and the AMA didn't even return phone calls, emails, letters, etc.. What do they do for dirt riders in a practical sense besides enforce rules at races. Do dirt bikers need our own organization?

1 day ago No idea on that one, but either way the argument will be that the promoter didn't take adequate steps to prevent the person from being on the race course so it's still on the promoter.

1 day ago Hit them and knocked them down, rode over them after he knocked them down, and never would have stopped if he didn't get stuck. There's 100% chance that the rider and promoter and everyone else is getting sued on this one.
