Yup

I’m guessing there’s likely a change in titles coming up too. I’m thinking an existing Triumph employee will take over as manager (MX Team).

Id bet Coker is team manager

Rumor a page or so ago was Fahe out at Kawi and Coker taking his place. Wonder if these changes at Triumph changed that?

Fahey not being out would be the biggest surprise (if you ignore the fact that this is motocross 🙃). As Kawasaki, you have to make a change no matter who is at fault - Fahie got the benefit of the doubt with Prado, but now that Chase is struggling, you just have to let him go.

(If true) I hope this can spark new life in the Kawasaki team and help them shake the negative image that has been building for years.

I had a Triumph 675 that was denied warranty for an aftermarket exhaust. The dealer said the exhaust fouled the plugs causing carbon buildup on the valves and lost compression (when in fact it was the crank position sensor all along that went bad). They literally disassembled the top end without my consent and then held my motorcycle hostage. Reported them to the state attorney general for fraud and then took them to small claims and won my motorcycle back. Though I was on the hook for reassembling the engine as I wanted it as far away from those shady mf’ers as possible. Will never buy a Triumph again because of this assholery.

Triumph should give Forkner another year IMO. They screwed him by having him race the 450. I feel like they owe him that.

I'm gonna say what everyone is thinking. I like Forkner, he has grown to me over the years, he's one of the toughest MFers out there. It's incredible and doesn't make sense how he always came back to winning speed from injuries, but since the crash in 2024 he is not the same guy anymore and now there is plenty of guys who deserve a ride more. The decision to put him on the 450 was stupid yes, but Triumph doesn't owe him anything.

I’d still like to see Forkner get one more shot on a BarX or ClubMx bike.

Do people really think a team manager will step into the booth for the full night show?

i disagree, the 450 move was long overdue, and gives him the opportunity to ride with a bit more finesse, instead of the balls out style you have to have on a 250.

It should have been good for him, but 'fast between crashes' isnt something that you can keep doing.

Having the 'belief that you can still win', and being able to do it, are not the same.

Yeah lets take it from a Ducati forum to get the facts about Triumph.

I'm not saying AF should not have moved up to a 450 at some point. But how Triumph did it was not a smart move. Especially with a rider who was trying to come back from a traumatic series of events and was totally focused on the 250. Many say the Triumph 450 is not so great as well.

They have the resources to give the guy another shot in 2027 on the 250.

it wsa noted that during the week he still had speed. but come weekends hes not himself. having a wife, kid and recovering from a potential deadly injury, the guy is a mental headcase at the moment and he's trying to stay out ther to pay bills. he would be better served  taking time away from the sport for a year like Kevin windham did in 2002. he needs space to breath and to stop being afraid of crashing

I'm at work and can't listen...but if the Mookie-to-HEP is a done deal, I'm happy for him. I think he'll rock on the Suzuki. 👍

Austin would be 29 if he took all of next year off.  He wouldn't just stroll onto a top tier bike either.

Windham was 5 years younger at the time,  won a bunch of races indoors and out in the big class and there was still chatter as to him being worth a factory bike.

How would you know this, "the guy is a mental headcase at the moment". So many people here like to talk about how the racers are headcases. Ok, sure.

But at what point do you say 'enough'.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Like many young talents, he missed his window, due to injuries, and eventually that window closes.

The list is long.

Anyone know how many 250s quadlock Honda plan on running next year. I’ve heard McAdoo is a lock  and I’ve also heard Enzo Lopes and Michael Mosiman have been in talks. They also have the 2 young Australians in Kingsford and Connally. It would be cool to see them with a 4 man 250 team and it seems like there will be a lot of left over talent on the table this year. Personally I would like to see Casey Cochran over there he’s been doing well the last 2 rounds and quadlock has done really well helping Shane McElrath to were it’s not unusual to see him in the top 10. Seems like Casey could be a guy they help develop.

I think Mosiman is staying at Star.
