At least with Hunter, if he has any fuel burn he’ll say. He did say after the race to JT that the fuel was the least of his problems. Had to be a distraction though. Something was definitely up with his goggles.

To me, should there be betting available? Above my pay grade. My gut is to say yes. Should one personally bet on SX/MX? Probably not. Probably shouldn't bet on anything.

I would imagine they offer spots to riders that they think have potential, and the scale of who's paying who is dependent on how good the rider is.

Well if he wins two championships he has to move up, yeah? A lot of things have to work right for that to happen obviously but in a perfect world where bad weeks and injuries don't happen then he should have a path to do just that. I'm more interested if Levi, Jo, Pierce Brown(if he can ever stay healthy)...

Vital complains that the media in this industry doesn’t report on slightly controversial or secret things because they don’t want to piss off their friends, yet when a media member does so they complain that he should have checked in with Eli first despite clearly having a source that (possibly incorrectly) gave him that information.

Looking at it, this has been 9 years ago! Shimoda became pro after Loretta in 2019 and is still only 23 years old, this was a prediction about a 14y old kid. Nice that it worked out for him!
