We had a Mud race in SX and mud race in MX and this will be the mud race for SMX. It's a multi-discipline sport. Next week it will be dry and hard as a rock. So relax

MX scores overalls off of points scored per moto. A 1-3 is 45 points, a 2-2 is 44 points. 1st is 25pts, 2nd 22, and 3rd is 20. SMX uses "olympic" scoring. A 1-3 and 2-2 are both 4 points, the tiebreaker is the second moto score so a 2-2 beats a 1-3 for the overall. SMX awards only 25 points to the overall winner. Don't ask me why they do it differently between disciplines.

This whole SMX is some corny circus side show. Build the SMX tracks at a Pro MX track. That carnival stadium only holds 20k fans anyways. What a complete joke. Sorry for the rant and 2 cents.

What's faster? A 327cc two stroke with "hit" Or A 327cc two stroke that puts power to the ground. "Hit" = spin = slow. Stay with me. "Hit" on a 327 also means fatigue. This isnt a 125 or 250.

Too bad Eli is on a KTM at the moment cause I’d like to see a 327 sequel to his Dirt Shark KX250 video he did in Cortez about 8 years ago while still on a Kawi. He hammered that bike.

I had absolutely no idea villopoto ever rode/raced a kx250. Thats a bit of lore I had never heard before. Once he explained the timeline it made sense though. The same way that stew was racing against all the 4 strokes on his 2 stroke kawi because kawi didnt have a 4 stroke yet, RV was down in amateurs at the time and in order for him to race in the 250/450 class with kawi he would have had to ride a kx250 also. I just figured he had never raced or rode a 250 or 450 until he moved...

Great video. It sounds great to me. A deeper tone. I wouldn’t want it to have the old 2t hit. That’s fine on a 125, but on a more powerful bike it makes it more difficult.

It actually sounded better here than it has in the other clips I've seen. Most of the time it sounds like it has a rag in the airbox. Maybe its the efi, maybe its cuz it has a silencer the size of a kx450f can? Not sure. Seems like maybe mitch or a tuner cleaned it up a bit more for this shot cuz even tho it didnt sound great, it def sounded better than it has so far. do yourself a favor and skip the toy hauler, they arent worth what you give up in living space. Find yourself a nice 28-31 foot class C and grab a 16x8.5 enclosed. Youll be loving life

I was down there all afternoon today. The start is elevated and there is a lake at the bottom of the rise. They’re not going behind the gate as the track map shows because of this. The rest of the track is covered. It’s definitely not an arenacross track but definitely not a hybrid one either. No matter what, they’re all racing on the same track
