For me it is whomever is pushing the envelope of speed. Some of the big hitters for me, McGrath, Tortelli, RC, JS7, Herlings, Beast mode!!, and Jett just makes it look like he is surfing going faster than anyone out there. True fan of them all. There have been a lot of bursts of speed by a lot more on this list like Dungey's ride at Southwick when he missed the start. That was awesome!! When they get into a situation like this and push themselves to go beyond their limits I do not care who it is, I need...

Growing up it was Rick Johnson. 90’s no particular guy, would have probably been Damon Bradshaw if he stuck around longer. 2000’s was Trey Canard and Andrew Short. 2010’s was Villopoto, Weston Peick and then Tomac. In the future, I’ll be rooting a lot for Chance Hymas I think.

I've seen the way my brothers treated rental cars. Hard pass.

What's the protection against damage to my bike? If I'm traveling and rent a bike, how do I get it to a track/riding area?

Maybe see Nike make another attempt at MX boots too….! Can you imagine a team that involved Deegan, Jordan, and Reed? You’d need to have several more trucks than most teams just to haul around all the supersized egos!

Webb is fast and all class. Doesn’t matter what bike he is on. Legend

...and on a totally different brand a week after SMX.

Loved that he called out all the riders in his mxdn vlog. Basically said if I can switch teams and do it, nobody can make an excuse. Then said he will go next year if asked, even if he has to race some nationals and do a 3 month boot camp to get ready. Won me over as a fan too, used to think differently of him.

All these teams and riders saying where’s my money or I’m not going then you get Webb saying I’ll pay for myself and others to go. At least we have someone who isn’t selfish. Keep being you Mr. Webb.

I would rather see the US get 5th every year with guys like Webb than see them win it with Deegan.

Webb is the exact type of guy you want for this event. He is clutch and shows up. Him going 6-6 is insane.

Steve Matthes is the only moto media.

Amazing that the series is going out on a track destroyed by God and a race canceled at half distance. (Skip to 50:00)

This is an arbitrary number off the top of my head but it means around 33% as much as a true SX title in my mind, I guess it’s more meaningful in the 250’s as opposed to the 450’s because of split coasts being brought together

Gimmick series. Useless title.

It would be interesting to hear some of these guys talk about what it's like when it's over. Presumably Tomac has spent a large portion of his waking hours for the last 20 years concentrating on training, riding and dieting. Is it a relief to not have to worry about that? After a month of not worrying about it, do you start to wonder about the purpose of your life going forward? I'm sure different people have different reactions. But that's a lot of inertia in his life that he has to slow down. For some guys, I don't think...

Mookie is apparently queueing up...

Savatgy and barcia didn't line up second moto so Nichols and Harlan got in.
