Unfortunately the rule is very clear…track cut is one position and gaining a position is also one position. Seth cut the track = one position loss and then he gained a position which = the other position loss….For Dylan he didn’t gain a position with his cut so it only = one position. The AMA got it right.

He was clearly off pace the last two races. The triple crown he had some bad luck AND Hunter was riding well. Probably sick or a practice injury, we'll never know. Not one to complain or be transparent. In general even in WSX he is not as good on the slick dusty tracks as he is on the tackier tracks with more room IMO. Years ago when I watched Tevin Tapia at Washougal on a 125 destroy the field of local pro’s that all were on 4 strokes I realized that the bike isn’t as big deal as I previously thought….if the rider is comfortable on the bike. At the top elite pro level that 10% can probably be the difference between 1st and “just” top 10.

10% bike, 90% rider? that means a rider would be 90% as fast without any bike at all. Maybe Endurocross

Help me understand what the AMA did wrong. Deegan clearly broke a rule and was punished, isn't that what we want? Would you prefer the AMA not apply a penalty in that situation? The Ferry penalty is iffy but the Deegan one is pretty straightforward.

THIS IS JUST MY OPINION...It's hard to justify any type of spousal abuse. It should never happen. But...I understand why it does happen. Sometimes, people (women especially) can really, REALLY get into pushing your buttons. Because they know if they get touched, you're going to jail...no matter what.. Here is my guess at what MIGHT have happened. Kyle rode for Pipes Motorsports Group for the WSX series in 250 class. WSX pays the teams , NOT the riders. So it is Pipes responsibility to dole out prize money that they got from WSX. I bet there was some sort of disagreement between Kyle and PMG about what his share should be.

The Hunter- Prado thing has been brewing for quite awhile, these comments reflect what’s simmering below the surface, not a one off complaint. Seems they really don’t like each other.

Why do we always assume a factory ride is better? Factory support, which he has now, is definitely an improvement. But team dynamics matter too. HRC is the Lawrence's team; they all click, but Joey may not. He looks great on his current bike and team. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Also, Savatgy isn't being anybody's bridesmaid again. Look what that got him at MEC.
