I would have guess 5 acres would be big enough for a track of your own, even with. 4 stroke

Pretty sure reasonable people aren't saying that at all but ok

Just curious, what do you pay for portions of a cow? And what do you get? That option doesn't really exist up here but I've always been interested

Some of the more negative aspects of this forum are almost exactly like middle school Thankfully there's quality content to balance it out. People get SUPER tribalistic when it comes to moto media in general, and podcasts specifically

Dogs get dog salmon

Thanks for the compliments. The first batch of smoked salmon turned out well but there are always improvements to be made. Thankfully I have another 12 lbs of salmon for smoking so I'll get plenty of practice We ... more »

Got to smoking some salmon today. Turned out really good! Basted with maple syrup for a subtle sweetness to balance the salt of the brine

Yeah there's a few but our soil is awful, silty, rocky crap. I did see Ben Lamay ride up here before he and his family moved south

You guys are insane, I complain when the temp hits 75 up here

In my defense, nobody has A/C and all the homes are extremely insulated. You wouldn't catch me dead on a track in anything approaching 80+

Another successful day on the Kenai. Wanted to brag on this fillet too 😂

I have no doubt that these seeds could pose a risk to our crops or food security. My only point was that China sending seeds with malicious intent to "destroy our crops" sounds like a Red Scare misinformation campaign.

I bought a '19 Tarmac and love it, don't know how they could have improved on it honestly. BTW, where did you buy the Allez from? I have a friend that's been trying to order one but everywhere is sold out or backordered

Grilled pork chops over lump. The cast iron grate was expensive but so worth it

Says the guy concerned about mystery seeds from China destroying our crops

Added reply in a thread Mystery Seeds - Updated 7/27/2020 11:28 AM

I'm not saying people should plant them because they shouldn't But if China wanted to disrupt our food security/chains they could definitely find another, more effective, and more sinister way to do it. All I'm saying

Added reply in a thread Mystery Seeds - Updated 7/27/2020 11:15 AM

Right because sending seeds in the mail to random people to cause destruction to crops is definitely something an evil dictatorship would do Sounds like something from a 1950s era Archie comic

We’re lucky that we have access to some of the highest quality salmon anywhere in the world, so I prefer simple preps to let it shine. This was just kosher salt, black pepper, and a lemon pepper blend I make, then rubbed with oil

Grilled a small piece of sockeye tonight. Seriously can’t be beat!
