Its legal is AMA amateur racing in the 450 class. They changed the rule several years ago. The 250 class is open to 250cc and the 4 stroke to 450cc. 2 Stroke or 4 Stroke.

That looks like a video error, especially if it was taken from a slow motion stream. If the slow motion clip is running at quarter speed, creating the clip generally consists of the computer/phone generating 3 in between (fake) frames per original frame. This is really difficult to do correctly when there is a lot of fast movement in the video, and there's a lot of fast movement in this video. I don't believe anyone could survive their neck getting into that position, let alone walk away questioning if anything is broken. I can see his head in this position...

4/19/2026 2:06pm I think it’s happening regardless. Factory Suzuki engineers have been over here from Japan in the off-season so I suspect they have been developing it for some time. I don’t expect anything crazy just an E-Start and some minor changes to the chassis and a better stock suspension setting.

My cousin could be full of shit, but the difference is if someone is close to him they prob would be less likely to tell the media than another friend. Telling the media would obviously make it a huge story and possibly hurt this persons relationship with Eli where telling another friend it...
