Flatliner Added a reply to Sacha Coenen - Let's make things interesting?
9/6/2026 12:59pm Wouldn't make any sense. He's beat up. Recover a bit and get into sx slowly, when fresh. I also hope he's east to have more time.

9/6/2026 12:34pm I'm not putting him ahead of dungey either. RD5 doesn't get enough credit for winning both 450 titles his rookie year. Tomac is still an all time great though, obviously.

9/6/2026 9:27am Dude is a badass for sure. While injuries may have cost him a few championships, I think he takes too much heat for staying down in MX2 too long. KTM was winning everything with Cairoli in MXGP and they kept Jeffrey in MX2 beyond his expiration date to keep winning everything there, too. Not the dude's fault. He's one of the greats.

9/6/2026 7:13am With no Coenen's he could do the same thing next year and I wouldn't be surprised.

9/5/2026 12:55pm everyone who rides a Beta loves almost everything about them. It wins tons of off-road and WORCS races at the highest levels. The only negative anyone has ever said and it's pretty unanimous across test riders and even ZachO said this recently - the moto 450 engine needs more pop. Both on the race bike and production bike side. This doesn't really matter in SX. The bike has already had some solid finishes indoors and I'd expect that to continue and probably get an all time high next season with Shane joining. The Quadlock bike is good. But if Shane...

9/5/2026 7:25am Yes because they took an idea had a gamble spent a shit tonne of money and R&D and made it work. In doing so they are ahead of the game. The others are the ones that need to be thinking about dropping the ball.

9/5/2026 6:32am That's still one of my favorite races. Dragon's back that only James n Chad did. The track they raced was actually tamed down from what was built.

9/4/2026 12:40pm I personally think it's a great idea. At the speeds pro guys are going and how rough the tracks get, I think it will help reduce injuries. Yes, it's new but I it's appropriate for rider safety. Look what it has done for MotoGP. None of those guys would go out without one now. It's natural to think that mandating something new for the sake of safety is overstepping ones personal choice. And I appreciate that, but I also feel like the organizing parties or association that organize racing should do everything they can to makes participation safer if possible...
