1 day ago I think discretion is ok until the incidents start occurring frequently. Then it’s time to enforce according to the rulebook so that everyone gets the message.

1 day ago I have no problems with the penalties but if you have that many red cross/red light jumping violations there is something systemic going on and it should be looked at internally to understand why.

1 day ago It seems people are conflating the supposed benefits of nitrogen as a gas with the fact that bottled nitrogen is free from moisture (as a result of how it is produced). Nitrogen is not a true inert gas but it is chemically inert for a wide range of conditions.

I like to use a special gas mixture containing around 78% nitrogen. Learned about it from an old racer years ago.

I'm glad someone asked this because I looked into it mid moto when it looked like Shimoda was going to do it. It's only happened once in the class. Damon Huffman in 1995 did it by two points over Brownie. Huffman's moto scores at the first four were: 2-4, 2-2, 4-3, 7-8. No overall wins in there either.
