I like having some racing to watch, yes it wasn't a great venue and the conditions sucked and SMX is ginicky,but most of the best riders were there and raced. I will watch this weekend also and enjoy it. I like racing even when it's not great.

I remember many years how many people here bitched about the MEC. It was a gimmick, riders needed time off, money grab, 3 moto format, JOKER LANE OMG!. Point is people will complain about anything. Then praise the thing they complained about the next day and forget they ever complained. It's just their default behavior to whine and bitch.

Moto fans fit the full spectrum- those who will sit all day in pouring rain to watch a race and love it, and those who watch from the comfort of their homes and hate it.

I thought for a while that T.Good was good egg with lots of neat factory bikes.. but I had a recent interaction with him and found him to be a totally self-absorbed kook. He was born with a golden-spoon in his mouth and if you push the wrong buttons, he practically vomits arrogance. I am not sure what the whole story is, but you would have thought that T.Good would have had the discussion with Gary Jones if he was acquiring the bikes directly from the family. That would be the right thing to do. I guess I am not...

Don’t worry about the amount of threads left for preload. Some springs are shorter than others. If you can get 104mm sag with 35mm static, you are good. If you run out of threads, race tech makes a spacer. I use Diverse Springs. They make good chrome silicone springs that rival titanium.

I think I went from prados biggest hater from the kx season, to a huge fan. I thought there was no way I’d change my mind on him, but his interviews are good and he seems like a cool dude. Stoked to see him get his confidence back and that 1-1 in mx was awesome.

Personally, I don’t use any of their stuff because I don’t think it’s great quality. But to bash them because you don’t want to pay for shipping after 40 hours and 9 months of use…

When these types of threads pop up, it makes me think that there are a number of people who claim to like the sport of MX/SX that should really check out ballet instead. Usually the prep of the course/stage is fantastic and the competitors have the exact same conditions for every competition/performance........

Was actually there and thought it was pretty badass for how it turned out with the conditions. Was expecting it to be a lot slower than it was, but they were hauling ass and was a lot faster than expected in such shit conditions. Glad they ran both mains. The SMX next class always puts on a good show as well. Always amazed at watching the Pro's and with it being the 22 best in each class, it wasn't bad in person!
