Reading the thread on ktm talk with the numerous documented failures (some guys on their 5th one) I understand why nihilo doesn't want to cover return shipping. He must be losing his ass on this dog shit product.

Seems like all the failures are well documented in the ktmtalk thread and it's not good. There are a lot!! Again, Nihilo concepts made a junk product. Complete oversight to choose the incorrect materials.

Yeah, being upset the product I purchased doesn't work after minimal use, along with hundreds of other people is a bit much on my part. How unreasonable of me.

I bought an ex to do everything, I’m 140lbs without gear and ordered the ex-hard but I got the ex-medium. In the woods riding I do the suspension was really good, on mx tracks it is a tad soft. I ended up going from a 4.8 shock spring to a 5.2 and that helped a lot. Forks feel pretty good I have gone way in on compression, but do not have the bottoming resistance my Yamaha forks have. I might add a little oil this winter when I service them. I am happy enough with how I have it setup...

Same thing happen to me and a riding buddy. Hose started deteriorating and clogging the filter. Nihilo also told me it was ethanol. That’s odd because the manual on the bike says the bike can run on e10 I was able to still see the part number on the hose. It’s a Parker 7212 1/4”id. I pulled the spec sheet on it. It says does not meet SAE standards for mobile equipment or vehicle engine service. It also says not suitable for regulated gasoline (pump gas). Once I sent that spec sheet to Nihilo they said that’s what their vendor...

He didn’t buy a KTM pump because KTM doesn’t make a “fuel transfer pump”. This kit is to fix the KTM pump problem with the newer fuel pump location. KTM moved the pump to a higher location in the tank. If you are racing off road the gas splashes up into the fuel pump pocket and most of the gas will be used. If you are riding on a road the fuel won’t be splashed into the pocket and you will run out of fuel even though there is still gas in the tank.

That’s a very good question. I’m not sure how many times it can deploy but it’s not uncommon for rides to have 2 or even more crashes in a moto.

I'm not a Colorado trail pro by any means, but ive been to Taylor Park a few times, and I can't think of anything kid-friendly unless you just did fire trails which would be very boring. Rampart is kid friendly

It looks like the plug is overheating, you likely have an air leak, ignition advanced too far, or the wrong heat range plug.

Aluminum has no business being involved in a foot peg or bracket, I don’t care who/where it’s made.
