Brent Added a reply to Herlings world champ again

9/6/2026 10:20am
Seeing him ride from trackside instead of watching on TV is special. He looks better on the Honda than he did last year on the KTM. He is visibly faster and more aggressive than everyone else. Guys who have not been to an MXGP need to see it in person before Herlings retires. I just wish I could have seen...

I believe it is. I spent a lot a days and nights there - I was driving up from San Diego at the time, long way to go and it smelled like a farm, but it was a lot of fun. The original was closed and gone in 2002, but big Jim Facuitto put the new Comp Park 2 in...

...They want the check from the Turkish Government, because they are not making it on ticket sales from fans flocking to Afyonkarahisar. It's also not easy to get to the track from the EU - 4 hour plane ride and a 4 to 5 hour drive after that. To drive from France or Spain who knows how long it takes...

Hopefully Herlings can get a discount on an A-Star system.

IMO American love Aussies, not as much with European riders. I think they will get a third guy eventually.

They have to put two bikes on the track if Lucas gets hurt. I can think of a couple -I'll bet Barcia is looking at his phone this morning... OR - a certain Kawa rider wants to go back home to a place that was pretty good to him?

My worthless opinion is that he is just over it. Wife, kids, farming. He doesn’t need the money. It is likely that he could keep on ripping if he wanted- look at Herlings , roughly same age, way more injuries, and faster than ever…

I think most Duchies would like Glenn to be the 250 guy, but in fairness they have to think of support on race weekend, and Glenn doesn't have any EU team to depend on this year and for sure he does not want to spend his own money to race. I'm really surprised that you guys didn't pick Karssemakers, I...

Brent Added a reply to Deegan, Tomac, Kitchen for TEAM USA MXDN?

8/23/2026 8:26pm
Because Deegan. That’s all I hear about from the locals when they find out I’m an American. If he goes that place won’t have one square inch to spare, and the French are already crazy devoted maniac fans as it is.

I totally get and understand what Rich Simmons is saying. Also remember the Euro is worth considerably more than our Dollar - so 25K USD is only roughly 21K €, so most everything on the trip costs more. Fuel is roughly 8-9 dollars a gallon there as well RN. I travel in the EU a fair amount and the costs...

Arnhem is a brutal track almost as heavy as Lommel, and the times Ive been there the crowds have packed the smaller circuit. it's lots of fun to go there on MXGP weekend. Only problem is it's mostly flat and viewing is not that great unless you are in one of the towers.

MXGP top 5 are getting paid okay, shit for a risk sport like moto - only one or two are over one million Euros not including personal sponsors. Lower than that they are making what a construction tradesman makes or worse . Lots of guys buy their team rides as well, so zero dollars to ride the bike, only personal...
