Are there a lot of new fans to the sport in this thread? The reason Friese has the rep he has is he does this shit all the fucking time. Start with this race and work back. Track obvious cheap takeouts. Track dangerous stuff like cross jumping right in front of someone, and then times he could have avoided contact even if he had position(like Hunter this week). It’s pretty much every race. NO other riders are in nearly as much bullshit, and that includes bambam. You would have to have a memory problem if you watch all the racing...

10 years ago with the exact same issues, blows me away that Friese has never been seriously dealt with, (I’ve defended him in the past): 1. by the AMA. 2. by Friese’s team or sponsors. 3. by the other riders (Peick’s approach worked for no one except himself).

Just do a 'Vince Friese' Vital search, sort by date, and start with the oldest, and look at all the riders he has had issues with. When I was a kd we ran our practice bike 80s till they wouldnt start. Id say probably 3-400 hours. We never kept track.. We rode all day every day when school was out. We rode to friends, girlfriends, to the store even to school when it was in. Nobody rode bikes anywhere because it was too far. We'd have to bump start they would be so worn out. I wore out 4 bikes a year. Completely beat.

Riders are already pissed. Regardless, if it was a racing incident or, intentional, he cost a lot of riders a lot of money. Not to mention the injuries. They’ll have their sites set on Friese in the upcoming rounds.

The FFM has spoken, the Varg is now legal to race in France MX and MX related championships. Can't wait to see it in SX tour SX1 class at last. And its riders will finally be able to earn championship points and prize money. More details will be coming in a few days but it's probably with the usual power restrictions required to compete with ICE, looks pretty similar to what's happening in Australia.

My guess is that the packed-house crowd was only there until they realized there were going to be electric bikes competing. They probably all left after that, because as we've all learned, if the bikes aren't making loud noises, a person might as well go watch a chess tournament at a pre-school.
