The instant one of the big OEMs releases a competitive electric motocross bike, they'll suddenly be allowed in AMA racing. The AMA is beholden to the big OEMs, not the sport. Ironically, the AMA used to be the American Motorcycle Association, but changed to the American Motorcyclist Association to emphasize they were about riders, not motorcycles. They're clearly NOT about riders anymore. I understand that some of the AMA's reluctance to allow E-bikes is because of how badly they fucked up the 2-stroke to 4-stroke transition, but they've had decades to fix the displacement disparity issue and have chosen not...

Star's logic and explanation is fine, but it also isn't new info this week. Every rationale they listed has existed forever. They changed their minds this week. So you either have to believe they're really stupid and don't plan ahead at all, or that the real reason for the change of heart now is something else. AMA determining penalties

My wife said 'WTF IS HE DOING' , its the kind of thing that an 8 year old kid would get bawled out for doing. He lost pretty much 2-3 seconds right there. He needs to watch his races back and ask himself why, given the choices he has, does he make the wrong one so often. He needs to go riding with Todd Kellet, that guy rides Le Touquet at warp factor 9 and passes lappers for 2 3/4 hours of a 3 hour race,

The difference is riders like Marchbanks and Fineis are happy as shit to finish 30 seconds behind the winner of a moto or be within two seconds a lap. Chase is pissed about that result, he wants to beat the winners, huge difference.

I love how Stark is basically saying " Hold my Beer" You think blocking and crossing lines will bean issue with our bikes. We will sign the master of doing those things at the highest levels of the sport to ride our bike in WSX. Vince Friese......... Have there been a lot of complaints and crashes as a result? I've heard some riders say its strange and hard to get used to. I can see how it could be a problem with not hearing somebody behind you. But that still happens with ICE bikes. I think its the only excuse...

When the Japanese are ready to release E-bikes all of the AMA's complaints will be magically resolved...nothing changes until then, unless Stark decides to write a big check.😎
