Wardy and Micky spent last week training together. Micky is back home in NorCal continuing his training, while Wardy continues to put in long miles in SoCal. On yesterday's 65-mile session, Wardy happened upon a group of riders that included Justin Barcia. When Wardy told me about seeing Bam Bam I had to ask, "How'd you know it was him? Did he block pass you in a corner?" 😜

I'd like to see Mookie join AP, but they need some guys who can (/want to) ride both SX/MX. Maybe Haarup could fill Mookie's seat for an outdoor only deal? I agree it's time for them to get some top riders and AP is a great fit. Hopefully he can stay healthier once he gets off the anorexic cycling program. The new 5.11 Triumph livery looks sick.

It's what ruined Honda HRC in MotoGP too. They had the best rider ever on their bike and completely neglected the issues that Marquez was able to ride around. It resulted in the worst period in the history of HRC.

The fact that Chase is incredibly uncomfortable on the bike, and yet won two Supercross races shows how incredibly talented he is. If Chase found a comfort zone and could get out of his own head, he’d be very hard to beat.

I remember walking into a local surf shop in North Carolina around 2004 and the guy telling me that as a moto journalist, I should check out this local kid named Cooper Webb. I found him to be an extremely determined, smart and talented nine-year old. It has been absolutely phenomenal watching him capture the dream that every moto rider wants. He deserves every dollar and accolade.

I hope Marchbanks stays at Kawi for 2027, or finds a good ride elsewhere. He's earned it.
