6/26/2026 12:06pm In my opinion at the time, he was so disillusioned with Beta (understandably so) that any change was good... I appreciated that it was a backwards move on paper, but felt it'd give him a mental spurt to push on again.

6/24/2026 7:51am Yeah, fair. Again, though, I mean Vialle’s peak in Pro Motocross. Supercross is not relevant at this point.

LewisPhillips Added a comment about feature The Weekend Breakdown | 2026 High Point
6/24/2026 7:10am All of that's relevant, but perhaps I wasn't clear. I wasn't saying Prado's where Vialle was. I'm saying maybe Prado's peak is what Vialle was. That's the disconnect between us.

LewisPhillips Added a new video MXGP Podcast Show | 2026 Italy
6/24/2026 7:05am Twenty years later, the FIM Motocross World Championship returned to the hard-pack circuit of Montevarchi in Italy. The event was held under a cloud of literal and figurative dust, as a majority of riders moved to criticize the fast-paced layout and 'dangerous' conditions. Was it fit for purpose? Lewis Phillips and Adam Wheeler tackle the topic in the latest 'MXGP Podcast Show' that comes in the wake of Grand Prix victories for Jeffrey Herlings and Sacha Coenen. There are an abundance of questions, observations and unavoidable tangents. The 'MXGP Podcast Show' is proudly backed by DC Shoes.

6/23/2026 7:09pm Nay, it's in respect to the immense potential of Tom Vialle. Everyone believes, and knows, he was capable of more in Pro Motocross. His supercross success is an unrelated story, as is Jorge Prado's. Otherwise Prado's successful 450SX season would be mentioned.

If that isn't enough evidence for you that this was...
