JoeyNovice Added a reply to Launch of new SX/MX results/stats archive!
1 day ago Been working on small updates over the past few months. Cleaning up some visual UI stuff and adding brief at a glance summaries to rider profiles. A big one I added recently is lap/segment/position data in Supercross all the way back to 2003. I added all main event lap times and segment times when available from the AMA result archive...

JoeyNovice Started a new thread International Riders in the United States Leaderboards
10/1/2026 12:12pm Third year running now I've put out updated leaderboards for foreign born riders in AMA SX and MX the week of Motocross of Nations. With his four wins in motocross this summer, Jett Lawrence took over the top spot for winningest foreign-born rider in AMA history. Hunter climbed up the win and podium charts pretty rapidly this year and Jo...

Cool Stats. I think it was on gypsy where he was asked who he thinks his biggest rivalry and most battles where with and he said Roczen. Interesting that Barcia is up there too but I guess not at the front the whole time for true battling.

In the Big Picture… As in “lifetime”…as in goin’ to Back In The Day…local stuff…LL’s…? Pretty sure it’s El Hombré. While we’re here, it’s been pretty damn nice to have witnessed his commitment to PURE UNADULTERATED SPEED & that straight up…“Just Do It!” mentality. Not to mention Beast Mode! 💪🏼🇺🇸 …all these years…we were all damn lucky to be there and witness all of it. From that debut ride on the Honda at Hangtown… Metallica at rider intros… The bow hunting and the GT3… The beautiful family… The 2 Stroke Videos… His respect for his brother’s service… All of it...

That is super cool!! I have to say that even though the numbers are a tie, when I think who "raced Eli the most," I think Kenny is my clear pick for that distinction given how many close battles and championships they fought for. He and Eli have been at the pinnacle together for a long time.

Yeah man, this stuff is awesome. Especially during the off-season, considering the rest of the nonsense that tends to pop up around here. Keep it up! Won't embed for some reason, but this Tomac highlight video is pretty good. Incredible how many battles with Kenny are in there. https://youtube.com/watch?v=nswOPVwHmm4&is=0A-RWR4n7YUctgpL

JoeyNovice Started a new thread Who Raced Eli Tomac the Most?
9/29/2026 12:24pm I ran the numbers and 695 different riders matched up with Eli Tomac in SX mains, MX overalls, and SMX overalls over the course of his whole career. Roczen (275), Barcia (275), and Anderson (269) are the three riders with the most races against Tomac. Roczen tied Barcia for the most in Tomac's last ever appearance in Ridgedale last weekend...

JoeyNovice Added a reply to Motocross Immaculate Grid Game by smxmuse
9/16/2026 6:05am I made a big update to the grid game last night. I added 20 new categories and tweaked the logic behind the grid selection. I talked to Matthes in Columbus and he said some categories would get repetitive and the same riders would get used repeatedly. The new logic should cater more towards grids with a healthy amount of variety...
JoeyNovice Added a reply to 9 Manufacturer's in Top 11 at SMX in Ohio
9/14/2026 9:22am Just looked into it and from what I have, it ties the most manufacturers in the top eleven in MX, SX, and SMX. The only other time this happened was at Hangtown in 1977: Honda, Suzuki, Harley-Davidson, Husqvarna, Maico, Kawasaki, Montessa, Can-Am, Yamaha. Link to those Hangtown results: https://smxmuse.com/race/hangtown-motocross-classic-1977-550
