6/21/2026 1:43pm I'm glad someone asked this because I looked into it mid moto when it looked like Shimoda was going to do it. It's only happened once in the class. Damon Huffman in 1995 did it by two points over Brownie. Huffman's moto scores at the first four were: 2-4, 2-2, 4-3, 7-8. No overall wins in there either.

It’s nuts you have to go all the way back to Johnny O to find the next closest guy. If I were forced to bet on it, I would have for sure put my money on Dungey being second.

Lots of work!!! Nice job. Moving forward you could list the pre- 2000 classes as 125cc, 250cc, and 500cc instead of trying to format them as 250 and 450.

It's been suggested many times that Chase isn't the same rider when lining up against Jett. I thought I'd take a look at the numbers and see if there's any substance to that assertion. Here's what the numbers say when overlaying Chase's 450 career results with Jett's presence on the gate... There definitely appears to be a difference in trend between the era before Jett and since Jett entered the class. On a shorter time frame, there are two clear periods when Jett was out that Chase's results suddenly improved, then fell away again as soon as Jett returned.

6/8/2026 10:20am Put out another update last night. Redesigned the header for the race result page to include the weather. I also added a notes tab where you can read my pre race notes and race recaps rather than via Instagram if that is what some prefer.

Bookmarked and will visit repeatedly for years to come. Great work, kudos to you for making this available to everyone. Few requests: - add championships to the all time leaderboard - For the season stats, it would be nice to have a column for how many points off the leader each rider is. Like how they present the points on TV, we dont see how many second place actually has, just the deficit
