Yep, IGeoff May was an old teammate of mine and did pretty well on Jordan. Jordan almost landed Ben Spies but Suzuki squashed it because they were didn’t want the factory team to get beat by a non factory team. Spies talked about it on social media few months ago. Hopefully this team happens

This is something I’ve thought about. Feld/MxSports/OEM’s have a symbiotic relationship where they work together to the benefit of both parties. Feld/MxSports want to make money. OEM’s want to sell bikes. we have been told many times we won’t see an equal displacement rule because some of the OEM’s don’t make 2 strokes anymore and they’d pull out of the series. Which I think is complete BS and their bluff should be called.

Professional racing in America isn’t setup to be profitable for the teams. It’s marketing dollars being lit on fire.

I believe in just one episode Feld stole sponsors from Reed's team. Make no mistake, if Jordan gets into pro motocross he is going after Coombs and Felds money. And he and every other team/rider will benefit. The model that exists now is so fucked up it couldn't be scripted this way.

It appeared he made a decision to pause racing to the front to avoid interference, IMO not happy about it. If he was struggling on the track I can see "happy with 3rd" as the right interpretation. Hopefully he gets a good start in SLC and shows everyone what could have been without interfering with the Hunter/Kenny battle.

During his podium interview after Denver, he said he wants to go for another podium - didn't mention a win. I agree and think he doesn't want to interfere unless he gets a holeshot and yards them - I doubt he would just pull over to let both of them by. His ride was very solid. I hope Freise, Harrison, Noren and some others are paying attention too (Webb, Prado, who are both out of it). I'd hate to have a lapper decide this title.

Indeed great comeback for Eli. Had he not stalled it, might have been battling up front. My guess is he’d ride his own race and get out of the way if he happened to be slowing one of them up but really no reason to slow down otherwise.
