It’s undoubtedly an important part and I understand the dealer not wanting to let the guy loose with the bike with potentially faulty handlebar clamps. But this dealer’s approach is almost unbelievably stringent. Holding the bike hostage can’t be the best option. My take on how this should go: The dealer needs to make it clear to the customer that they can’t, in good conscience, let the bike out the door with faulty clamps. They’ve done that much. I was "this" close to getting Roger and team Suzuki into a fractional back in 2007...and then came 2008. Life is funny.

I know, thats's why I said if they are sharing it, it makes more sense. It's one of the fixed costs eliminated because you can't eliminate the private hangars, insurance, maintenance, etc. I've been flying TBM 850, PC12, and a Citation and my favorite choice for them would be a single turbo prop instead of a Jet. As you know, way more flexibility for a turbo prop compared to a jet, other than going slower. But I'm into landing on short runways or dirt runways in Baja, so I'll take the TBM or Pilatus over the jet any day.

I agree 100% with this too. I hate the “content creator” era we are in. I’m also not dumb enough to fall for it. I’ll never know Deegan personally and nothing he does affects my life. Why would I give two fucks what’s on his T shirt and get all fuckin butthurt over it 😂.

On a positive note our grandson and the 7 year old neighbor kid we invited (who just got his first bike and was at his first MX race of any kind) had an absolute blast. Walking around for 3 hours after the race was over was just an extra added bonus for them. The neighbor kid is super enthused, it was fun to see him get to check out a bunch of stuff he wouldn’t have had we not been stuck there. Like him standing on the starting line and imagining he was in the race, throttle and clutch hands...

Yeah, I had worried about that since nightmare stories of first year and was hesitant to come but remembered I had a solution in the garage. Thanks for Jeremy McGrath and Eddie Cole for bringing this out. Perfect for this use. Parked about 4 miles out, 10am at fruit stand turn put (others parked there too) and rode in. Right where traffic heading west was backed up to. 10 minutes in and out. Plus rode bike around everywhere once inside. 3% charge left when back at the truck. Turned out to be a great day all the way around.
