I have been to the last 3 USA MXON races with buddies in my motorhome. This year I was finally able to talk my wife into a trip to France.... I had two Yamaha TTR125Ls that we would race around my backyard track, for 15 years or so. 3 acres in an expensive area in Placer County California. No one ever complained. I rode maybe 2 days a month and we would have beatdown races maybe once a year. It was a blast and the track was simple - just hold the TTRs wide open and flog the shifter. No need for big bikes to have fun, but I think a tweener bike like a TTR125 is more fun than an actual minibike. I probably taught 15 women and kids...

The fact that “loss of group text privileges” is in a supposedly serious penalty report has got to be the biggest joke of 2026. That’s some middle school level maturity right there.

What a business model. Get this: “Hey guys, let’s start a ‘series.’” Cool. You’ll pay the teams to be part of it, right? Nope. They’ll pay us. Oh… but you’ll give them some TV money? Why would we do that? Okay, so there’s at least some incentive for teams to travel across the country and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars competing in your series? Absolutely not. Wait… so they pay entry fees, credential fees, and whatever else you can come up with, cover all their own travel and racing expenses, and you keep the revenue? Now you’re getting it...

How on earth did you manage that without a $300,000 motorhome/toyhauler?

Back before they cut all the trees down! Woodland made many riders very competent in the mud! Spent a lot of years riding there and it was actually one of my favorite tracks. Got myself some hardware there over years and got put on the Woodland swag for 1998 even. Dont have much to add on the original topic, except, its dirtbikes....rain or shine.

Thanks all for the excellent comments. I will do my due diligence and may get back to a couple of sellers on here. I really like that side load Outlaw 29S! I will post what I end up getting here for even more suggestions on making it mine. Some smart people in here despite the Vitard label. Super excited for this next chapter of life!

Track don't even look that bad to justify cutting the time

He was in LCQ’s because he got his appendix removed after getting 3rd in Seattle and a win in Anaheim. 2025 he won also but eventually had a fibula broken.
