That's the right decision then. I said that the only argument was around Haidens condition and his injury. If he didn't show up, that is enough info. Send Coop. As I said, my issue was not with who goes, it's with the majority of people's behavior in here towards another human. I didn't know that He no showed yet when I posted the comment above, If I had, I would have changed a few factual words, but my main message would have been the same. And to act like all anyone said was that they knew he wasn't going to...

I’ve never watched MXON, and most people I know never have. However, this year more people I know than ever are making sure to tune in because of Deegan. Everyone wants to see how he does. What other rider attracts attention like that? Nobody. Barely anyone over here even watches MXGP. But everyone over there makes sure to watch SMX, MX, and SX over here in the states. That’s why he’s the best rider. Move along now.

Deegan earned the spot. If he is physically able to go, it is his spot. If he can't he should do the right thing and bow out. His ass-clownery at Vegas SMX should not change your opinion on who is the better choice.

I thought it was a good video. It makes sense what he was trying to do in the final SMX. Also, growing the sport is a good thing. What he didn't say, is whether he's 100% in for MXoN.

Says he was playing cat and mouse with Jo to get other riders to catch up, and that the media built up a race as a brawl until it actually happened. Also says he could have t-boned him, but did not want to and that wasn't his goal. Listen to a master at his craft and why he wants the sport to grow. Also doesn't care if you like him or not, but lets keep the thread positive.

Probably a crayon eating mechanical engineer. Us actual engineers respect the Deegans.

The only way we win is a 250 class win. RJ and ElI combined aren't beating Hunter and Jett. Maybe Eli can split them. I am not confident Justin Cooper can win the class. Anything else we don't win.

The level of personal people let this kid make them feel about things is unhinged. Vegas was a bad look, but everything else in the body of work tells you he's the best bet we have to win the class at nations. It's a pretty objective point

Don’t agree with the moves at Vegas but was really looking forward to see how he would do at this event.

This is so stupid. We'd rather lose on our own home soil? If he can ride, he's easily the better Ironman choice on a 250 right now. I'm paying a lot of money to go watch nations. I want a USA win not a lucky to hit the podium team.

Agree 100%... I was at Redbud in '18 and watched the USA come up short. In '22 at Redbud the pride and excitement displayed when we won was off the charts and was probably the best event I have ever witnessed. I paid a bunch of money as did friends flying in to hopefully see USA win again on home...
