1 day ago My understanding is that the main reason modular reactors aren’t viable in the US is because of legacy permitting and regulation laws that were put in place during the Carter administration that essentially treat all nuclear plants equally regardless of size. The creates huge red tape hurdles to jump through that can take 10 years or more and really aren’t...

6/2/2026 6:33pm Regardless of what's being done now by existing power plants, pumping a bunch of cool river water through a bunch of metal cooling tubes to reduce server heat, then pumping that heated water back into a natural stream all for AI progress and monetization is good for the environment in your eyes? You don't see a problem with fucking with an ecosystem like that? I thought you would be a champion for the preservation of nature at all costs given how much time you spend outdoors.

6/2/2026 6:29pm One person, one vote gets you a State, and then Nation that is King County (Seattle) in this example. The people out in the middle rural parts of the country are then completely alienated as they will NEVER have the numbers to overcome what the massive population centers in liberal cities can and will vote for. The Electoral College serves a distinct purpose to put value to the voters in rural locations as was intended by the Founding Fathers. Now what should be done 1st (IMO) is to make the Electoral College based on district and not the State. If...

6/2/2026 6:27pm I don’t agree that the democrats are any better. It’s the entire political system that does not have the American taxpayers best interests at heart . When it comes to corruption and enriching themselves both parties are equally to blame for where we are now.

6/2/2026 12:40pm Same song and dance from him on basically every thread about running a track for the last year or so. Every track should be $10 to enter, perfectly groomed, and a national level facility/amenities. If it’s not that, the track owner is operating off pure greed and we’re a bunch of idiots for going along with it.

6/2/2026 12:38pm Whatever they have to do man. With our track on practice days we allowed every rider to bring someone that way there was someone to get them home after a crash. Also not going to charge Mom and Dad that bring a couple kids. Now if some dude brings 5 of his buddies and their chicks to just hang out and watch then yep fork it over.

6/1/2026 12:29pm On a positive note our grandson and the 7 year old neighbor kid we invited (who just got his first bike and was at his first MX race of any kind) had an absolute blast. Walking around for 3 hours after the race was over was just an extra added bonus for them. The neighbor kid is super enthused, it was fun to see him get to check out a bunch of stuff he wouldn’t have had we not been stuck there. Like him standing on the starting line and imagining he was in the race, throttle and clutch hands...

6/1/2026 9:39am I wouldn't bet against the guy. 22-0 is a little too much but the title is within reach. Seems like a hard-working, very analytical rider who studies and learns a lot, and it looks like he's as healthy as he's ever been so hopefully he can keep the roll going.

5/31/2026 11:05pm Dumb is thinking that anyone acting like a douche and doing something "just for clicks" is perfectly fine and helps maintain a stable society. Before the internet, anyone acting like a douche, for attention or just because that's what they were, was quickly put in their place by society, either by a slap upside the head or simply by having no friends. A slap around the head one night when I was being a smart ass soon taught me to mind my manners. Sad that it's now, okay "for clicks". I'll also add that only a cockhead walks around wearing...

5/31/2026 4:40pm I’m not one to post for many reasons but the level of immaturity is something else Sometimes people should think before they speak but it always seems like people want to have a profound statement before the mic drop….. I’ve learned in my years that being humble and kind is more than respected, it’s necessary for society as a whole Some people strive to an A-hole but should learn to take the high road Live and learn

5/31/2026 3:45pm Is it really though? People are sick of getting blasted with fake personalities, ads, AI, and all other sorts of bullshit 24/7, the marginal returns are diminishing on this type of marketing real fast. Part of the reason this SX season was one of the most memorable ever was you had two honest, real, and respectful champions going at it...
