6/25/2026 2:27pm The 250s are a different story. Whatever advantage they had last year (seemed to always see either Chance or Jo out front off the start) is gone. They look noticeably under powered relative to the PC Kawis, which seem to always pull ahead at the 30-40 foot mark.

. Are you talking about this guy? The one who won a 250 title and Didn't finish outside the top 3 in a 450 series for 3 years straight? Indoors and out?....are you delusional? 99% of racers would take this career.

6/20/2026 1:47pm To be fair Marchbanks is a top 10 guy, and borderline top 5 at time in MX and wasn't even close to race wins in 250s the same way Shimoda was.

I disagree... I think Jo is wasting time on the small displacement bike. He's shown he's better suited to the 450. IMO every season he's not on a 450 at this point is wasted potential. We've seen what he does on the 250. It's barely getting any better each year. Just my opinion...

I usually don't partake in the weekly broadcast dogpile but she seemed really lost. Maybe she had a dozen directors in her ear feeding information while she was trying to interview riders?

I'm not sure how many of these she has done, but she was clearly uncomfortable, frequently fumbled her words, and was difficult to hear a lot of the time. She has many opportunities for improvement. I sincerely hope she finds her stride bc this weekend was rough.

Shimoda's passing and race craft might be the worst of any elite rider I've seen in recent memory. The kid is so fast but he either sits behind people he's multiple seconds a lap faster than, or dives into a gap that doesn't exist and ends up losing even more time or making mistakes. It's so bizarre from such a strong rider

6/1/2026 9:26pm Yeah tbf Shimoda actually seemed to have faster lap times or at least on par to Hammaker in moto 2, it just didn’t show in results due to bad start and the stall on the hill, but his gap stayed the same throughout the moto.

I think the 250 class will have multiple winners this season from: Hammaker, Kitchen, Davies, Thrasher, Shimoda, Hymas, Beaumer, DiFrancesco… on any given day any one of these guys can take the win. However, when it comes to the championship, I think it’ll be highly contested between both Team Green riders. Hammaker and Kitchen will be battling each other till the very end with Kitchen taking the title.

I’m used to being disappointed by Shimoda at this point. He really, really surprised me at the end of last year but this SX season was more of the same and I saw it again this weekend. Just absolutely unable to get a decent [start] and struggles so hard when it comes to lining up and timing his passes. Hymas is another one of my favorites but as others have said, has yet to put together a full season. Just finishing this year would be a win for him. All that to say, I really hope the Kawi guys can...
