I listen to LVK every week (among all the other pulp pods lol), I usually side with you on things to be fair. This time I was WAY out on your response to Kellen. He was bringing up a very fair and valid point and actually I think I speak for most of us when I say we appreciate him saying what the other 90% of people following this sport are saying. Seemed like you didn't want to speak on it directly and got very worried you would receive a talking to and be shunned from the cool kids club...

Mike Pelletier is the Race Director. We all know others are involved but he is THE GUY. You defiantly sharing the blame across the others in turn taking the accountability away from Pelletier looks suss. It looks like you're covering yourself.

Kellen is great. He has been working up outside of the normal industry ladder and that is why i think he actually has balls to say what everyone with no conflict of interest has the balls to say.

From what I can see, the AMA has taken a further dive down under Mike Pelletier. At least we know that the buck should stop with him, but he seems to hide in the background.

Ezra is probably tired of know it all people online blaming him for every mistake because he is the only name they know. He is/was literally one guy and wasn’t even in a decision making role. He was the liaison between the AMA and the riders. He was trying to help. The anger should be pointed at Mike Pelletier who is too afraid to announce or talk about the decisions he is approving because he “got death threats” about taking a lap away from Jett hitting the gate. Pelletier should stop hiding and acting like a pussy. Make common sense...

Purely conjecture, but this seems like a classic case of hiring a guy because he has the right experience and knowledge, and then refusing to ACTUALLY listen to him. Hopefully he goes on one of the podcasts and tells all.

I listened to that segment of the podcast yesterday. It’s unclear to me if you are just debating a contrary view but it seems you aren’t grasping the fact that as director Pelletier absolutely is accountable. He doesn’t answer to anyone else in the area of race rules and decisions. If people in his team are doing things independently of him that’s also his problem.

The OP image is not even the actual quote. Rage bait for Jett haters. The actual interview was fine. I listened while working last night. He actually touched on his lack of being able to convey things properly at times. He knows he's come off disrespectful with some stuff and feels like an idiot when that happens.

When Jett was on 250s and started to really find his feet he was reminded by his camp that he was not there yet. Now that he has proven himself in the premiere class it’s understandable that he is confident. He is the guy to beat. He has had his moments where he has misstepped in interviews too but this is not it. And of course you’d need to have zero awareness to be comparing this to the Deegan approach.

Watch the video; it doesn't come off as arrogant. I'm not going to say he's humble, but he surely isn't in the same league as Deegan.
