things that are bizarre about this whole situation: MXoN promoters makes unbelieveable, sell-out supercross level money on this event, does not pay expense money for what could be his biggest draw, and yet deegan gets called greedy. This could be changed very simply by requiring a percentage of profits from this year to go into a fund to be split up for teams traveling the furthest. Maybe a formula that seeds the teams plus pays based on distance traveled. when team USA started going over to race the MX des Nations and trophy des nations it was the most prestigious...

He can talk about America all he wants, and he can wave the American flag all he wants. There is nothing hypocritical about that at all, and it isn't your place to tell him what he can and can't do. @mooch was already proved wrong on that point, and this may come as a surprise to many here, but racing a single one-off race a year does not in any way prove or disprove one's patriotism or love for their country. The car will decide if you are sleepy, drunk, distracted, angry or otherwise "unable" to operate the vehicle and will shut it off. Law enforcement (and any other person who can hack) will be able to remotely shut off your car. This is complete BS. The amount of crime they can stop using this tech pales in comparison to the potential for abuse. I, for one, am insulted by the insinuation that I must be monitored to stop me from driving drunk. I don't even drink! I certainly wouldn't drive afterward on the rare occasions when I do.

Stark set themselves back years at this race. Clear advantage, missed on the setting to make it fair, proved that the degree of performance advantage and therefore what it takes to correct for it varies too much track to track and is dependent on too many factors. It got harder to argue that it's going to be possible to fairly race them with ICE bikes tonight. Not going to be worth the effort for everyone else to try to accommodate this.

I know its a big world out there…and its hard to avoid buying from china with every day purchases….but ..no way in hell I”m willingly buying a bike made in china, not because I think it will be inferior but more based off their propensities to steal trade secrets and avoid existing patents…..China needs to start playing by the same rules as everyone else in a global market…for me anyway…

4 surgeries in 2022. First was C7-T1 disc bulge. Initial surgeon wanted to fuse C5-C7. That sounded aggressive so I consulted the renowned Carroll Clinic in Dallas. The surgeon who managed Tony Romo’s back when he was with the Cowboys performed a laminectomy which did the job. Scary part? The fusing would have 1) been a 3 day hospital stay and 3 month rehab, and 2) would not have fixed the problem. With the laminectomy I walked out of the hospital the same day as the procedure.

No vax here and I'm glad I didn't give in. Illinois banned me from gyms and restaurants for half a year and I wasn't able to travel. I had to tell my employer to fire me if they had a problem with it, luckily kept my job though as the federal mandate didn't apply to companies <100 people. Fun times. I would be 100x more bitter if I took any of those shots, though. Also, I only got COVID once, in 2022. Loss taste and smell with minimal fatigue for a couple days. Haven't even had a cold since.

You think 1000 people will even do so? That's only 40k if even 1000 people were to do so. Minus all expenses and whatever percentage split is agreed upon. The Racer TV broadcast on Youtube was great and the proper way to broadcast the LL races. Now you just have to "FLO" out more money, and its even more expensive than Peacock at 9 to 12 bucks a month to watch...

I think 6th-8th is realistic. The guy crashed out of his last two races on the first lap and probably has not been riding long. Crashes make you back it down some for a few races. It is just human nature to do so. Unless you are 19 years old.
