Nearly all of our raw materials are made in the USA, so we haven't paid any direct tariffs on that. All those US made material prices jumped significantly as a result of tariffs, but no direct tariffs on them. All of the tariffs we've been charged for are for finished goods like bearings, seals, bolts, tooling, etc. Most of those are primarily made of steel or aluminum, so we get hit with the steel/aluminum tariff on top of the other tariffs. They're also a "national security concern", of course, so we get that tariff too. Plus some others, usually. We...

So now if we don’t like someone it’s automatically because they’re foreign and we don’t understand them? I dislike Wil, Diffey, Lewis, and Gypsy for various reasons, none of which pertain to their accent or country of origin. Get out with this BS take. Lewis has a giggly fanboy persona I don’t care for that has zero to do with the fact he’s British. 🤦🏼♂️

Phillips comes across as a wanker sometimes. Reminds me some of the brit sterotype looking down his nose at us uncivilized Americans. One reason I like Weege so much… fair, friendly, enthusiastic about the sport, courteous, still brings/ presents us with good info. Without a doubt the best moto has as far as guys that are not past champs in the booth or reporting.

The first time I ever heard this “journalist” was a Herlings interview a few years ago that was so cringy and I was instantly convinced he’s a tool. Every time he’s on pulp I’m half tempted to just turn it off. Maybe he’s a great guy away from all of it but he certainly comes off like a pompous douche lately.

He is the most arrogant and condescending person in our sport that laughably calls himself a journalist. Take a look at his Twitter feed it is filled with Tweet after Tweet making fun and being condescending towards one of the biggest legends of our sport. Imagine someone with the life achievements of Lewis Phillips constantly degrading and making fun publicly someone of Eli Tomac’s achievements 🤦♂️🤦♂️ And he even does it in Tomac’s country of birth meanwhile he is from GB! Ole Lew needs to pull his head in.
