Not sure I would use joy as the way to describe it, but part of the reason I love riding is because it's the only thing I've found where I can truly check out. My mind cannot wander to other things and all the other worries are forgotten when I'm riding. That is the thing I've found hardest to replicate with other activities. I've found nothing that matches Motocross, but mountain biking is really, really cool too. It's especially fun to ride with friends. It's like BMX for adults. I've even gotten to the point where I enjoy climbs. My favorite time to ride is at night. It takes a little getting used to riding with lights, but it's very, very therapeutic. It's an adventure every single time. Again, nothing matches Motocross, especially racing, but mountain biking is a lot less expensive, and safer, as the speeds are slower (unless you start hucking huge jumps or drop offs). I agree, I think at this point the most loyal of Chase fans even have to be honest with themselves he hasn’t handled his last few years very well. Really looks bad too when you leave a team and one of your biggest rivals comes in, has immediate success, and everyone there is now happy. Chase is a bad dude on a bike but it sure seems there is something way off about his attitude when things don’t go well or he has some adversity
