If I was Yamaha, I wouldn’t want Chase on my bike. He did complain about the Honda, before leaving in what has been spoken about a strained manner. He complained about the KTM. Needed different forks, made it publicly known he’d purchased his own KYB practice suspension. Has done nothing but complain about the Kawasaki and causes a scene in the public eye. Nah… you may have talent, but you’re hard work and a liability. Yamaha have what they need in Deegan. Chase is a risk.

I think that the 'successful' moto dad/son dynamic is a lot stranger than what most of us went through. And when I say successful, I am talking about the rider making a factory team, not the relationship between the dad and the son. I think I even remember RC awhile back saying something along the lines of he learned to just get the bike to a "good not great" setup and just learned how to ride it best from there instead of always chasing setups and letting it affect your riding mentally. I'm not sure what your point is? That some of the top 20 get lapped isn't an argument that we should have even more lappers. That some EMX riders would finish top 10 in MX2 is irrelevant to the consideration of how many riders line up.

It is pathetic but actually the only thing I miss by having just 20 riders on the gate is lappers. As long as those 20 are the best that can line up, it doesn't take anything away from the quality of the racing for me and in some respects it enhances it. And that's Luongo's get-out-of-jail card.

Just caught the replay of moto 1. The brothers played it to perfection. Jett inched off into the lead. Got into a rhythm, and went to work. Hunter stayed right on target, keeping 2nd place squarely in his crosshairs, until it was time to pull the trigger, and lay down a few laps. IMO, the biggest mistake you can make is, bringing someone's wife, or GF, into your little attempt at head games. That shit doesn't fade away with time.
