Will never forget the incident at 1977 British 500cc Grand Prix at Farleigh Castle. Steve was Honda Team manager and appointed to FIM jury. He was convinced Bob Wright’s works CCM was oversize and was wrestling with mechanic John Baynham to seize bike to measure it. Situation ended when Baynham clocked him with a right hand and bike never got measured! Ironically years later FIM allowed 450cc 4 strokes to compete against 250cc 2 strokes. My sincere condolences 💐 for family and friends.

I remember reading an article about all that. The "custom" work seemed to be pretty much hacking bits off old bikes till they ended up looking like something that'd been raided for parts.

It's been auto renew for a couple of years now and I actually cancelled the auto renew yesterday. I also deleted my credit card information from the 'current payment method' they held to make sure they don't get cute. I'll probably renew next year as usual but that'll be my decision and not theirs.
