This makes a lot of sense, but if I were KTM's marketing guys, I'd have announced the Chase Sexton thing at the same time. More hype all at once. (There may be extenuating circumstances that prevent such an announcement, however.)

I really dont know the first thing about how these negotiations go ,perhaps chase is only asking for a certain amount of factory parts with the Honda and going third party on other stuff that he feels comfortable with? At this point it's still anyone's guess.

Probably not hugely different than what they originally had planned for ’27 before Tomac decided to retire. Whose salary would have been higher, Sexton or Tomac? I think Sexton, but not 50% higher or anything like that.

Damn I really liked that. She's articulate and clearly knows moto. Kept it light with some fun questions but wasn't afraid to push it a tad too. Little bit of editing timing but that's stuff that irons out with quantity.

Being nice to look at is one thing, but the questions were direct, it wasn’t awkward, Chase was relaxed, and we got stuff we haven’t heard before. So in this case, the tits were irrelevant. Amazing what good content can do.
There's a notable age gap there... I think she's 20, and I'm not sure that works. If it was 40 and 47, seems fine.

Chase is 27? Yea he didnt have time to wait out the 3 year kawi contract, he needs to win now. Plus if he had waited it out that would have been 3 years of bad results and then hitting the market at 30 years old. He def made the right call.

I was thinking Quad Lock, but if you were Yarrive you’d be considering the risk of taking a top guy that you can’t properly accommodate because he demands a lot and the effect that may have on being the factory 250 operation in the near future. KTM seems more logical now with the possibility of the Coenen brothers being saved from the meat grinder for 27 and Eli heading off into the sunset. Regardless, A1 2027 will be a treat for us all
