The AMA guys ride 8 months of the year on super stiff suspension trying to be smooth, and bike set up for Supercross. Then have a few weeks to test for MX. GP guys should be faster than the AMA guys. I remember an interview with Herlings a few years ago with him saying this exact same thing. He exact words is they are completely 2 different sports. this is why also you see top GP guys come over and if they even make it through the SX season unhurt, they are not at the same speed outdoors just the...

And he had one of the weirdest bike setups ever. Rear shock that had large amounts of rebound damping and ride so low it was practically a chopper. He just rode the fuck out of it.

Didn't Jubal Brown just race one to multiple A class wins over a full season with 250 hours on it? By all evidence, the bike is a lot more reliable than what Chase was on.
