I can understand any setback but some transparency and communication from Kawasaki would be appreciated. I’ve been waiting almost 2 years and had a deposit down for 5 months now. I would consider myself in the “very excited” crowd but that is now dwindling.

Weren't those the bikes that grenaded the rod out the bottom?

Am I the lonely bunch that think this thing sounded like a rich running POS? It sounds like dog shit.

There have been zero announcements about a delay in the US.

Big bore 2 stroke shootout in 2028 could be pretty exciting, big if, but what Japanese brand could we see join Kawasaki? I think Yamaha would be the first to jump on board with another big bore 2 stroke with e-start and efi

Yamaha could definitely spin up a big bore to compete with the KX and KTMs. They're already doing the 125/250 so they have the 2t teams and talent in place so it doesn't seem like a stretch for them. Honda won't ever get back to 2ts and Suzuki is unlikely to release their first true new model in nearly a decade as a 2t. Though, they could do what they used to and just sell the KXs with yellow plastics ala the RM65s. I wouldn't be completely shocked if Suzuki rebadged the 327 but that's not really a new entry.

Honda is going to surprise you, and a lot of other people, in the near future.

Sounds like a stock injected 2t, not a bash but that is just what they sound like.

The KTM injected 300 SX 2t doesn't sound like that at all, IMHO

We still talking about the sound of a bike from a video on YouTube?

It sounded great in a few clips, and not so great in others. Tells me more about microphones. All sounded better than any 250F.

I see they offer a fan kit as an optional part. That will be good for the hard-core off-road guys.

I'm guessing that the delay, may have to do with that.  In some cases it runs perfect, and others maybe not.  So thinking they are working out some fueling issues.  Jmho

It does, with a pipe and a ecu they sound fine. But it does sound like that stock or with a silencer and stock tune, I work on huskys a lot at work and they sound the same. Again not a bash, the sound is the least of the issues we see with injected 2t bikes. Sleds are amazing but the bikes can struggle.

I think if Kawasaki wants to revive even a little of their reputation. Have the Monster Kawasaki team video with Marchbanks and Stewart on the 327 all tricked out. Then the second half of the video shoot is on their 450's like normal. Its a quick and easy marketing for both bikes and some nostalgia.

Team Kawasaki USA has a damaged reputation.  There should no issue with Kawasaki’s reputation.

Put a #7 on one and have James rip around a little. The internet might break.

Wonder if we will see DI like on sleds?

I just heard an ad on the radio yesterday for the Kawi motocross bikes (first time hearing something like that)..main emphasis was the powerful 4s engine and 19” rear wheel..haha

Highly doubtful.

BRP is the only one using DI. Everyone else has gone back to TBI after some variations in the injection location.

DI requires more complex engineering than would be necessary for dirt bike use. The higher fuel pressure required could be an issue (bigger, stronger pumps) along with the packaging. Throttle body injection (or a variation of it) is just way easier to deal with on a conventional two stroke single.

Also, 2 stroke FI is much easier on sleds. The CVT keeps the engine in a pretty narrow operating range compared to a bike. For example, you can’t lug a sled around at 3000 rpm and full throttle.

Meanwhile an FI bike is expected to run perfectly at any rpm coupled with any throttle position and any load.

Currently smelling ski doo mix oil, it would be cool if they did being that it seems to work so well. I have my axe to grind with ski doo on things but you cant say the motors suck.

Popped in to my local dealer, they are saying December! They just got a new '27 KX250F recently.

I will agree with you on the Rotax engines. Incredibly solid.

Rest of the BRP stuff? Hard pass.
