You’re incorrect (as usual). He won the title in 2018, then had mediocre seasons (with no wins) in 2019, 2020, and 2021 before switching to Kawasaki in 2022 and winning 7 races. He is literally probably the worst example you could have brought up to illustrate your narrative.

In his interview with Lewis he took plenty of accountability and apologized multiple times. I’m a human too, and I can forgive someone who owns up to their mistakes. I’m a big fan of Chase and want him healthy and riding at his best. Makes our sport more fun to watch

I think he hit the brake without having the clutch engaged and stalled the motor. If the motor seized then he wouldn't have rode the bike back, and likely would have felt the motor tightening up before he hit that jump. If the bike is getting tight on press day you would expect him to just pull off rather than continue to push and launch what is probably the biggest jump on the track. No one wants to see chase hurt or taking diggers, regardless of his recent antics. If they do, then they aren't really fans of the sport...

To reiterate, all Sexton talked about when he signed with Kawi was that he wanted a long term deal, this was the place he could see himself finishing his career on, he was going to work with them to win, saying he can win on the bike. Alluding to why he left KTM...blah, blah, blah. I think Kawi has busted their ass to make him happy and comfy, just like they did with Prado. While the bike is some of the problem, the much larger problem is Sexton. Honda - constantly tucked the front. Left. KTM - constantly tucked the front. Complained about the bike. Left. Kawi - tucking the front. Complaining. Ghostriding. About to be 'banged up' and leave the series. Again.
