Sure, you are talking about increasingly restrictive db limits the AMA is placing on pro racing four stroke machines, and as a result the OEMs building that into the stock bikes.
Does that have any impact on a 2t that will never line up at an AMA pro race? Maybe?
As was pointed out by others, the most likely explaination is these pre production bikes are tuned conservatively as they are limited in number and need to go the distance in making the various media and influencer rounds, all while avoiding any risk of a public visible breakdown.
Pretty sure this bike will win some gncc, hare scrambles, and enduros.
Dear Kawi, the next video or drip of info, such as specs on the website, would be appreciated. Refined dates?
Noticed Motosport.com now has the 327X and 450FX listed under 2027 Kawasaki Models, with OEM parts available for order for the 450FX, pretty intriguing considering neither bike has hit showroom floors yet
The Shop

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
And throttle syndicate already has graphics available to order for the 327, witch is nice went ahead and ordered some number plate backgrounds so I will already have them before I have my bike
Thanks to my Lord and Personal Saviour the Japanese are watching the 2t success seen by Euros like K'toom, Beyta, ect. Common sense may yet prevail.
I went to take a peak and it looks like the air filter system is almost an exact replica of the twin air power flow system.

Looks like they yanked the 327 stuff down.
Came across this, called a few dealers in the Eastern United States today, they said KX327/KX327X | KX450F/KX450FX all shipping at the same time
Arriving in Italy?

I curious if the Factory GNCC Kawasaki team (Baylor/Redbear) shows up with one for the biggest annual race in America (Ironman, October 25th)? Possibly Grant or Josh at the helm?
Random fun fact I just noticed: Black Airbox! I haven't been a fan of my last few KX's having the green airbox.
So, I don't know if these numbers are accurate, just a post I saw, and says est. But if they are accurate, it confirms, you'll never see ProAMA approve the 327 in the 450 class. The 4 stroke is "so much better" would be dead....
Weight savings might be - lighter battery, lighter pipe/ silencer, lighter handlebars, lighter wheels/ hubs, lighter triple clamps, possibly lighter airbox (mods) and air filter, sprockets/ chain. Possibly lighter axles.
that pictured silencer sure is short compared to 450s.
Old Terrafirma Music. Nice.
Baylor had one loaded up in the Kawi van two rounds ago at the mudder. I remember him posting an insta story talking about the mud, and how he would much rather be on the 327 than the 450 that day.
Pit Row
Per Swap pod, press intro has been slid to January. Wish I could downvote my own post.
A lot of times the press ride bikes after they are released to consumers.
McGrath confirmed November release date 3 days ago
I put my order in today!! Team Green!!
I searched for a post on the topic without success, forgive me if I overlooked:
Has anyone heard about a planned factory Supermoto format KX327? I installed the Warp9 Supermoto kit and TrueNorthMotos lighting kit on my 2023 Husky TE250. It is a riot to zip around in traffic on a 2t. I see the puzzled look in the eyes of normal motorists as the 2t sound triggers memories of 2t devices in childhood, e.g. dirt bikes, chain saws, motorscooters, etc. But let's face it, the sound of 2t motorcycles in traffic is not common, even in the dirt nowadays the sound is becoming rare. Cops seem puzzled at first, wondering if this is something they need to pull over.
But the TE250 is a convert, I need to convert it back to dirt soon. But I am convinced, I need a full time 2t Supermoto for street. Maybe a KX327SM? I can but hope.
ChunderpotCafe : well, if the KTM Group don't produce such a thing in a 2T, why would you think Kawasaki might do such a thing?
It will be left to owners to do so - just like you've done to your KTM Group 2T.
As to 'normal motorists' reaction to a 2t on the road - I get what you are saying.
I fairly regularly flip a set of MT21s onto my CRE500, and ride into Sydney. It's fully registered / plated, with lights, blinkers and 2 Double Take folding mirrors - all of which is on the bike, only being taken off for the now rare race.
The reactions you get from 'The Public' is somewhat hilarious, at times. When they hear ( and see) something so different to Everything else, I get a lot of double takes. And. when stuck at the lights for extended periods, some 'observers' very much don't like the bit of smoke the old beast puts out, at idle........... clears up in an instant, once underway, but you can, at times, feel the 'indignation' ........
Though, you can tell who are the Motorcyclists / Dirt Bike riders on the sidewalk / in vehicles, by their reactions to seeing a Dinosaur being ridden on the road. 😁
Sauce?
I hope he is right!
I want the 327 to be good soo bad, the hype has been crazy and it looks sick! But, I think it's gonna be a pos. It sounds like shit in all the videos and seems slow. Plus it's heavy. I hope I'm wrong. Looks like Kawi still has some work to do and they're pushing dates back...
You can always wait around for the second gen.
I could be complettely wrong and I hope I am but just got my deposit back. More I thought about it the more I realize its a HUGE undertaking to build a close to perfect big bore 2 stroke afte two decades. So much going on with electronics and crap. I decided to wait till next summer for my new big bore 2 stroke from KTM. Ya, it will be a new model also but KTM has been building 2 strokes non stop now and can use data from that to transition into a 350/360 or whatever it ends up being. Good luck guys, hope Im wrong.
