I’ve had this feeling lately that for local races we should all go to the Loretta’s model. Just age and no skill divisions. An a/b/c split for adults in increments of 5 years is so much. We’re adults. We can handle getting 12th against people our age. Also would make local purse money bigger

This shouldn't be political, but there is a shit fuck load wrong in Texas as well, and the same can be said about one party being in power too long. When your party doesn't win by a large margin, that means you got a ton of poeple that still want some type of representation they deem fair. Going all out nuclear on one side is not the way to govern.

My original VVT design, early 2014 was literally exactly like what the GSXR came out with in 2017. Should I have patented it? Nah, too much money, would have never received anything from it. I never made those pieces, but had them drawn up in CAD. The reason I didn't go forward with that design, it just wouldn't fit under the valve cover and timing chain galley without cutting and welding. The next design used pawls that swung open under RPM and retarded sprocket. It still required grinding on head and valve cover, just no welding. I built a CRF250R...

Speaking of variable cam timing, can we get @williamsmotowerx to chime in? I could have sworn at one point on his website he was developing that for a motocross application. Curious if the space constraints or simply costs kept it from taking off.

I don't have any side in this argument, but from a LOT of riders I've talked to/interacted with, putting their boots on is hard enough for them to tackle on their own, let alone getting a transit and institution number from their bank.

Metering rod carburetors suck for motocross. Theyre always lean, and give the rider the illusion of proper jetting. Maaaybe in the woods theyre "decent"? (Prob not) Did the metering rod salesman sell you on using less fuel? Hint: (always lean) The best 2 set ups (pick your poison) Newer keihin AS with stik, just don't use a power jet model needle in a non-power jet bike. I.e. putting the Suzuki needle in the KTM Keihin. Mikuni TMX from the CR250s that everyone throws away because of all the non-jetting dipshits spreading bad info. Swap the stock S9 nozzle for an...

First 450 ever? My RM-Z was also my first 450. Use the tuning app and look around on here for some good maps. I have one I think is mellow but strong and I'd be happy to share it if you'd like. All we do is screenshot the data values and you have to copy the info into your tiles and ranges. I will just urge you to not consider yourself "adapted" for at least 6ish rides. A 450 is truly a different motocross experience than anything. I've had every bike at this point and the 450 stands apart so...

He’s referring to the TrailMaster LX250R. Link to a dealer’s listing of it below: https://arlingtonpowersports.com/trailmaster-jhl-pro-series-tm-lx250r-2… I’ve ridden it. It has KYB suspension, DID rims and chain, frame is similar to the 23+ KTM, engine was a Zongshen or Loncin copy of the crf250r from whatever year they went back to single exhaust port. Only things that are odd are the...

Not that this amazing story needed ANOTHER layer of inspirational coolness, but even his mechanic, Billy Hartle adds to the story. Imagine, you and your wife run a store doing service on any and all powersports in west Texas and sell Beta's. You're in the store Monday through Thursday morning, then around noon you drive several hours to DFW airport...

If Suzuki releases a new bike, it won't be because Kenny won on this model. (However, you can be darn sure the marketing department will capitalize on Roczen's success to sell more yellow bikes.) The design, testing, and production timelines are just too long to plan a model release around seasonal championships. It's not hyperbole when I say it takes 2-3 years to make a new motorcycle. Let's not ignore the possibility that Ken might not even WANT a new bike. This one's doing just fine!

“We did everything on this 350 build that we’ve done on every 350 we’ve built for the last ten years. We did everything under the sun, sent the ECU to Twisted Development, Decal Works graphics and seat cover, and Dunlop Tires. Thanks to Dunlop for sponsoring this video.” Followed by 2 minutes of warming the bike up in the pits, 2 clips of it on the track, and then 10 minutes of rambling about tunable ECUs and acting like it’s the first one to ever exist.
