After tax, that's about 3 draft beers per pay period at 26 checks a year. At 120K, I'd also look for the memo about Kawasaki moving their HQ to Lake of the Ozarks. Reminds me of the cocktail waitresses in lower economies who can't afford the drinks they're serving.

This is "cultural" and the culture was created by The Blackwater 100, an Enduro event originally planned and promoted by Dave Coombs Sr. Route 70 river crossing "mud fleas" Thise were good times and I think folks are trying to recreate it, albeit unsuccessfully. Good times, pictured below.
