9/7/2026 1:02pm France SX tour round 3 Congrats to Maxime Desprey who is SX1 champion again, he won all races, and won the MX Elite championship as well earlier this year. Just like last year, Zaragoza ends up 4th in the championship. With 7-4-9-6, he still needs to find something to make a step and become a real contender. Michael Hicks, on...

9/7/2026 9:51am The infrastructure for moving hydrogen doesn't exist and would be too costly to build out for the general public. It could work for railroads and at airports as then you could have bulk distribution

9/4/2026 3:10pm People bitch and moan about every newly mandated piece of gear. If Vital was around when full face helmets were mandated I’m sure we’d see a similar dialogue. 10 years down the line, when we’ve seen countless crashes that surely would’ve been worse without airbags, no one will be complaining about it

9/4/2026 3:10pm Yes because they took an idea had a gamble spent a shit tonne of money and R&D and made it work. In doing so they are ahead of the game. The others are the ones that need to be thinking about dropping the ball.

9/4/2026 12:46pm Starks have been legal to race in Australia for a while, they've been racing MX, enduro, Supermoto, long track, won VetMX titles... but for some reason AUSX remained the one Australian championship where they were not allowed. Well, until now. Really great opportunity for Hicks to perfect his art.

9/4/2026 12:39pm Apparently most MXGP riders already wear airbags. It costs 600 €, about the same or less than their boots or helmets and they might change it less often. Replacement cartridge is 100 €. Anyway are there that many MXGP riders paying for their own kit? Astars with a perfectly timed gram

9/4/2026 11:10am Maybe, but what if they had a competitive MX bike? I am looking forward to the first Chinese bike that is built to be the best and not just be a lower price option. It will be interesting to see what useless features they add. Like in their cars, they have cars that can jump. And so many wild luxuries in their luxury cars, its over the top. I could see China making the first mass produced MX bike with electronic suspension. Something that had a jump mode that would use the suspension to bunny hop the bike. And the...

9/4/2026 9:08am There are people that aren't smart enough to use the belt if it was voluntary. The cost for society for such idiots in case of accidents shouldn't be carried by the rest of us. So if you are fine with medic leaving you as is when they come to a scene and see you didn't use it, I'm also ok with it being voluntary.

There are several other brands making them and they went mandatory for motoGP quite a few years ago and it’s made a huge difference in injuries for those guys.

9/3/2026 11:28am Airbags have been mandatory in MotoGP (Moto3 and Moto2) since 2018. No big deal. They're dual charge (two canisters): first crash they deploy in milliseconds, deflate automatically in about 10s then ready for another fall. I can't think of any time a rider would have had 2 crashes then tried to jump on the bike again just to be disqualified...

9/3/2026 3:52am I came across a story from French publication Moto Verte that I thought was too cool not to share. We know a passionate enthusiast who has remained young at heart, even if his creations are far from mere toys! A former elite enduro rider and BMX fanatic, Fabien Rolland expresses his passions down to the finest details—so much so that he spent endless days in his workshop working on Jett Lawrence’s CRF450, built completely from scratch at 1/9th scale. A colossal undertaking, elevated by a masterful result: a truly unique masterpiece. "I think I’m a little crazy... !" A little...

But from 2027 onwards, KOVE is taking things a step further. Instead of gaining experience in the lower EMX classes, the manufacturer has opted to take on the toughest challenge straight away: MXGP. With two factory riders, its own team and the ambition to establish itself among the established names in the class. The man leading the project is no stranger to the international motocross scene. Belgian Tom Steensels will take on the role of team manager, facing...
