I‘m curious to see how the Varg will do in Supercross. If the bike‘s handling is decent enough for those kind of tracks, I don’t see any chance for the ICE-bikes. The instant power and better traction are a hugh advantage.

Yep there is so much that does not depend directly on Stark and they're obviously dwarfs compared to the established OEMs. Their strategy seems to begin with some national championships and it already bears some fruit. It's easier to discuss with some federations on a case by case basis where OEM do not get a big say. Sure, OEMs may...

Hi Goldie, I see that you're still irremediably attracted to any Varg thread. I'm glad that you're now pretty confident in the Varg's potential. Yes it's great that it is competing in national championships less than 6 months after the first delivery of a brand new bike unlike anything else on the market, from an unknown startup, but just like...

IMHO racers want to race the fastest bikes, period. Separate class makes sense if a new technology needs time to develop and maybe eventually reach the level of current tech (see Formula E, MotoE). But if the Varg is already on par with the 450s there would be no point to separate the classes.

Everything single test and review, pro riders and amateurs alike, highlighted the incredible acceleration and traction of the Varg. Plus capping power would not affect the monster torque you get from 0 rpm (the Varg makes about 20 times more torque than any of its 450 competitors) so yeah, I understand why he's confident about holeshots ! This will be...

Not sure why they call it racing debut since a Varg rider already stepped on the podium twice in women MX french championship (low key but official competition nonetheless). Anyway there will also be Vargs competing in french SX championship, possibly as soon as 26th of August. Thomas Do will be an official Stark rider in SX2 competing against 250cc...

If you're curious about the battery removal and installation here is Stark tutorial. It's nice to see a manufacturer producing such detailed videos to help users with maintaining their bike. Not that you should really need to do this procedure anyway (they have lots of other tutorials on their YT channel) but it's nice to know it has been well...

My bike hasn’t come in yet, but I was able to borrow my buddy’s Varg for the Motoclimb at Big Hill Jam last weekend. This thing was awesome and a game changer for me, not having to worry about covering the clutch or shifting during my run.

Good question, with Varg production slowly ramping up (let's see where they're at at the end of the year), I was also wondering about sales numbers for motocrossers but could not find detailed information for each bike or market. From what I gathered, Alta produced about 900 bikes and they had been delivering for 3 years before they went under...

If you're worried about the lack of clutch, it looks like the instant and massive torque of electric motor can help you clear obstacles.

That's my video. The Varg is REALLY amazing to ride. Range so far outlasts me on the MX track so no concern for me! I'm 45 and just ride for fun these days. I'm a 90s 125B rider and still ride about the same level but take less risks. I've been getting around 1% per minute on the track. A soft/tilled track would likely load it up more and use more power. The motor is super impressive in how well connected it feels to throttle input. Super easy to ride. Power above the 55hp setting is insane. The 80hp setting...

As far as range goes I think it would last a full moto with Jett Lawrence riding it on a deep track. Or 1.5-2 hours of me riding on the same track 🤣. Its not a concern for me. I can't ride this thing for an hour straight on an MX track. I can't do more than 30 minutes at any kind of fast pace on any bike so its all good! What is most impressive is the chassis, handling and suspension! Its better than my 21 YZ250F and 23 KTM 350SXF by a good margin. Corners better, better manners...

Thanks so much bigoldbeef for posting the video and Ray Knight for making it and answering some honest questions here. That's what this thread should be about.
