Dan is not good with media. That interview made him look really bad.

I was going to post something here about this! Lewis asked all the right questions and Fahie was audibly struggling to answer. The Mathes interview was just two buddies talking with zero uncomfortable questions. Another example of Lewis asking some great questions we all have!

All you guys that hate on it need to remember the Japanese went through the same industrial revolution in the later 60s and early 70s. Nobody was riding Japanese bikes at one point and now look at them. The Chinese are in the midst of that. As someone who has plenty of stuff manufactured (non-moto), I have a few good vendors in China and the quality is just as good if not better than some of the vendors I have stateside.

Be crazy to bet against Jett if he’s fully healthy. He’s still only ever lost 3 overalls one of which was Ironman with the gate debacle. Probably Hunter second, might steal on overall or two if Jett is not on his game. After that it’s a crap shoot to place the rest. Eli will be up there but I have doubts whether he can be consistent enough. JCoop is good outdoors but highly start dependent. Deegan obviously has potential but we haven’t seen how that will translate to the 450. Prado is now in the situation he wanted; no more...

Man Hunter looked so comfortable. The bike setup tonight looked absolutely dialed as well. He looked like he had so much traction considering the way the track looked. Personally pulling for Kenny, but that was big time ride by Hunter. Glad Eli could still put it on the podium for his home crowd! Can't wait for next weekend.

There’s one kid in my neighborhood that’s probably around 13-14 but he’s not part of the Surron gang. His family is heavy into some sort of religion, based off what I’ve seen them wear and how many people are actually living in the house. I see him ride his bicycle past my house all the time when I have the garage open and have seen him staring into it a few times riding by. I’ve thought about saying what’s up to him and inviting him to check the bikes out, but don’t want to seem like a weirdo. I remember...

I think a huge draw to the Surron’s is no maintenance, sound, or gas/oil. I’d guess 90-95% of the kids riding them probably don’t have any interest in a legitimate dirt bike or any kind of off-roading. Having a legitimate dirt bike means changing oil, increased operating cost (maintenance, fuel etc), and having to travel to a legitimate track to ride. That’s probably the biggest appeal about them is that they can ride right out of their front door, meet up at the local 7/11, and then ride all over town with minimal fuss. Nobody bats an eye at the...

Putting Forkner on the 450 for the full season (including outdoors apparently) is even more weird to me..
