10/7/2026 4:36pm Lived in Texas during most of the McGrath era. Two of us always went, back to back nights in the Astrodome, then drive up to Dallas the following weekend. Never came close to dropping a grand over the entire two week period.

10/7/2026 4:36pm I'm getting married Dec 31, and convinced the fiance to honeymoon in thousand oaks that week. Just so happens there's a dirt bike race down the street. If we just did hotels, tickets, and flights, it would be $2500. Then do 1.4x that because we are Canadian. Some people blow thousands on regular vacations, I would pay whatever it costs to go to Anaheim 1 for the first time. But I will enjoy it, and never do it again at that price.

10/7/2026 4:34pm I remember getting tickets for the Oakland Supercross at a Yamaha dealer for $20/ticket, then using an empty Monster can to get a pit pass 🤣

10/7/2026 4:33pm im in the same boat. this was talked about in the LA WSX thread a couple weeks ago. When you figure in gas ($7/gallon here in los angeles), parking, food, drinks, taking a family of 4 or 5 is gonna set you back around $1,000 these days. No thank you. I'll pay my 12.99 to peacock, BBQ dinner at home, and sit on my couch and watch it, then fall asleep with a half drank beer. Whats crazy is I remember paying $25/ticket for A1/A2 around 2020/21. Its stupid now.

10/7/2026 4:33pm Nashville 26 was my last Supercross. 200 per head for 2 tickets, 80 to park. Spoken as humbly as possible, I am not hurting for cash. But you're right, there comes a point where it's just insanity. They aren't trying to expand their customer base, they're trying to juice the customer base that remains.

10/7/2026 4:33pm This shit can't continue. Out of principle I'm not paying twice as much for tickets as I did a few years ago. I can't be the only one that has had enough of this insanity.

10/7/2026 4:31pm Man, I feel bad for Michael Mosiman. He's someone that almost never gets talked about, but I think he's very underrated. Yes, he's been bedridden with injuries, but he has arguably shown more speed than a lot of 250 guys that are getting factory rides. For example, Nick Romano getting the PC ride but is someone who will not be able to consistently get podiums or immediately have speed, like Mosiman. What's interesting, about Michael Mosiman is no matter how many injuries he has, he's almost always back to podium-level speed within 2 to 3 races. Even this year, he...

10/7/2026 4:29pm Playing devil's advocate here, but the "cure" for obesity has been pretty lucrative for big pharma far as I can tell. In fact, it seems to be the largest catalyst since the " censored" in 2021.

10/4/2026 6:13pm My favorite race of the year. It's the only race in which every one of us fans has something at stake. Huge respect to Coop, Juju and Levi for stepping up. In the years to come Doucheboy is going to regret turning down the honor because he wanted money. Short-sighted, greedy, and typical of the Deegan grift. Don't even invite him in 2028. You know he's not going next year.

10/1/2026 3:11pm Just throwing one small part of the fallacy of wind energy out there... A medium sized wind generator field uses more concrete than the entire annual production of the cement plant that I work at can produce to support said concrete. That windmill field requires more than 350,000 tons of cement, 2,200MW of electrical power (ours is hydroelectric), 70,000 tons of coal, and 20,000 tons of petroleum coke to produce, and generate metric shit tons (literally) of CO2. This is all JUST for the foundations of those wind turbines. Before a single bit of the tower is erected. Before all...

9/29/2026 2:31pm Kawasaki - They need to fire Fahe, and maybe a couple other execs. Last 3-4 years have been atrocious. Chase could still be "in" I think. Honda - no. Yamaha - Maybe. My algorithm keeps bringing him up there, with a decent past relationship. KTM - No. Also, didn't they go through a huge restructuring last year, where they about lost everything? I guess that's why Husky and GasGas disbanded. Suzuki - Seeing the posts here, that looks promising, especially if Roczen retires. Ducati - I thought I heard someone recently say they had a really tight budget = no...
