8/2/2026 10:50pm Just touching base on this, so I ended up getting one and brought it home, today. It seems most dealers around here have '26s on sale, so there may be some slight variables, but I was just over $10k OTD. I honestly didn't call around too much but just made a list of some dealers that were close and got in contact w/ the ones that I frequently go to. To me, I thought anything at/around 10k OTD is pretty decent, so I wasn't going to make a big deal over a couple hundred bucks. So hope that helps.

7/21/2026 1:25pm Considering getting a new 26 or 27 yz450. Are dealerships giving discounts or should I basically expect to pay msrp which is roughly $10.5k + fees? Thanks.

7/13/2026 10:07pm Yeah, the weep hole is where radiator fluid goes when it leaks past the water pump seal. If your bike has some hours on it, its probably time for new water pump seal, but you could probably ride it again and just keep an eye on the fluid level in your radiator if it is a very slow leak. I personally wouldn't chance it, but you can. Its not hard to replace. Also check the water pump shaft for any grooving where the seal rides on it while you have it apart.

7/13/2026 9:34pm So after some research the hole im talking about is called a "weep hole". I was reading that it is not normal and could be an issue with the water pump. One piece I read said to monitor and possibly it will resolve. Otherwise the seals and pump may need to be replaced.

7/13/2026 8:05pm Today was pretty hot and when I was loading my bike up I noticed a small amount of coolant around a bolt by the bottom of the engine by lower portion of the cooling system. It appears there's a small hole just above that bolt. Is this some type of overflow or something? The bike is a 2021 yz450. I...

5/14/2026 6:50pm Well, turns out I don't have a torn meniscus. Either just sprained or partially torn MCL. PT and maybe an injection in 4 weeks if it's not healing quickly.

5/13/2026 2:39pm Have you reached out to the McGinley clinic in Casper WY? I believe they can review your films and give you treatment advice. Im not sure of the cost or time frame but it might be worth looking into. They seem to be very up to date on the best current minimally invasive treatments.

5/13/2026 1:53pm What is wrong with people giving their feedback on their medical care? I am a medical professional myself and find it helpful to ask others what they did and if they'd do it again. None of this is to say someone shouldn't listen to their doctor, but even two good doctors could have two different but legitimate opinions on how...

5/3/2026 8:47pm Love all of the opinions and takes in here. Some are spot on and some are pretty funny. I think you can figure out which ones are more accurate IMO haha. And either way it’s all good. I’m fine. And I’ll try again Saturday. Not bad for a semi retired old washed up part timer out there haha

5/2/2026 8:37pm Go back to your penis colony. Kenny has been racing 450 sx since 2013, and that's what TropicPilot was referring to. It's actually been more than 10 years, but you get the point.

5/2/2026 8:37pm Kenny almost lost his arm after a crash and then broke the other arm a year later. He then spent half a decade regaining his race form. Yank or not, incredible to see and I hope he wins.

5/2/2026 8:28pm Great to see you take out an OG for no reason other than he can run whoops better than you. We'll add it to the list of excellent racing decisions you've made during your career.

4/24/2026 11:10am It isn't necessary if it's not askew, but it's basically loosening everything up from axle to triple clamps letting everything relax in an unbound state, and making sure it's all straight before re-tightening.
