Added reply in a thread No one predicted Webb last year 9/17/2019 3:24 AM

There were definitely some people predicting Webb last year, just not a whole lot. In his past he had shown he was capable of dominance and had shown flashes of speed on a 450, so most people knew the pieces were there, but just needed assembled by Aldon. ... more »

Me? Nah, I think I probably got a B-. Hated my chemistry teacher. I might not be explaining it correctly, but my girlfriend has the degrees to back it up and is from the area, and is highly passionate about the problems/stereotypes of Appalachia. I do ... more »

My work produces a ton of sulphur dioxide, that is some seriously nasty shit. Eats carbon steel away like it's butter. My lungs feel it big time even after I leave.

I grew up in the 90s, so I only caught the tail end of acid rain being prevalent in the media, and I was young and unaware of exactly what claims were being made by reputable sources. But I can assure you acid rain is absolutely detrimental to Appalachia ... more »

Is it possible that Craig will ride a 450 for Geico in 2020, getting baseline settings for Martin in 2021?

Added reply in a thread Justin Hill 2020 ?? 9/13/2019 4:21 AM

I'd say the same thing about Benny Bloss. I think he has the potential to be a top 5 guy, but unfortunately, it's looking like injuries are going to keep him from reaching his potential. If only everyone had the attitude/determination of RC, Peick, or ... more »

Added reply in a thread Justin Hill 2020 ?? 9/13/2019 4:19 AM

I agree completely, it seems like you're imagining I said that Hill "is going to be the man" rather than "he has one important piece of the puzzle, but lacking others". Can you get lucky enough to go faster than anyone else in the world on a supercross ... more »

Added reply in a thread Justin Hill 2020 ?? 9/13/2019 4:12 AM

I'm not saying Justin Hill is going to be "the man", just that he has the skills to be in contention if he can figure out the rest. Yes, one lap speed only goes so far. You guys are reaching a whole lot here. He obviously has the speed, no? But he also ... more »

Multiple rounds last year where he put in the fastest lap or close to it in qualifying. Doesn't having the fastest lap prove you have the skill to be a top level guy? I'm not making any excuses for his alleged work ethic, but it's pretty easy to see ... more »

Added reply in a thread In what order are you most excited for the start of a series? 9/12/2019 11:58 AM

A1 - s always peak excitement, new year, new numbers, new bikes, new teams, it's a fresh start! Then by round 7 it becomes dull and I can't wait for outdoors to start! AMA nats- mid year fresh start! A breath of fresh air to see big, open tracks, and ... more »

Added reply in a thread Made in China... 9/12/2019 7:00 AM

Working in industrial construction, shackles made in China are a huge no no. Million + dollar jobs have been shut down by the crane operators because they realized they had been provided with shackles made with Chinese steel.

Added reply in a thread Number System poll 9/1/2019 1:43 PM

I say keep it the way it is, except raise the number of points per year required to keep your career number. Nothing against Chisolm, but... it is weird to see such a low number consistently finish so far back.

Holy crap

I lucked out when someone didn't pick up their pre order, felt wrong paying $75 for a CD, but I figured what the hell. It's slowly growing on me, Pneuma keeps getting stuck in my head. Still wish Maynard had some more powerful vocals/melodies. ... more »

7empest is my favorite so far I think, I remember the beginning having some more angrily delivered vocals that reminded me of early Tool

Added reply in a thread Tool- New album 8/30/2019 4:19 PM

After one full listen, I like it. But don't love it. Instrumentally, it's great, but lacks any super memorable moments. None of the vocals are memorable to me at all, very subdued and in the background, don't really add much to the songs. I like that ... more »

Thanks! I'm pretty much a newbie with DSLR stuff, with scenery like that, it's hard to take a bad picture if you point it at the right spot! I've got a canon Rebel T2i, but some if the pictures mixed in there are off of my Galaxy S8, it really has an ... more »
