There are other factors why someone like Garrett stays 250 for so long. Number one, a decent salary. Higher number of rides on decent bikes and salaries. Chance of hitting bonuses that will by far outweigh the salary itself (US race bonuses are so much higher than GP). Look what he had to do on a 250 last year to even get considered for a good 450 spot. Guys like Smith and Hampshire didn't stay 250 forever because they chose it over good 450 spots, they never were offered a good 450 ride until recently. While I fully agree some...

i havent looked at lap times from hangtown, but i remember Fiolek in 2010 had laptimes comparable to around 35th-40th. the top 3-5 now, i would suspect are probably around that marker, and most are gonna be fast (not top) B riders down to local C class speed. ( there was at least 1 or 2 being lapped in the 12min moto... edit: just checked times, the 'slowest' fast lap recorded in the 250 moto 2 was 2:07.6 by Nate Freehill vs Cannon a 2:07 (Lachlan 2:07.4 respectively) after the top 2 the next fastest lap was 2:12 with the...

Not very fair to compare her to the Lawrence's lap times, who also made everyone else look silly. Charli and LaLa had better/comparable lap times with the guys who finished 30/31 in 250 moto 2, who also had 2:07s as their fast laps. I think I saw a couple 2:06 and 2:05s, then there were a lot of people who's...

I like him as a rider. I don’t know him personally but from what I see I probably wouldn’t. People who love drama generally aren’t my favorite.

Not sure why everyone feels the need to pick a side and put all of the blame there. It's a bad marriage, it's not going to work, and all parties are to blame. All parties will move on to their next bad marriage if they don't admit their faults.

Did you know that Tomac didn't ride a 2025 or 2026 Kawi back in 2021?

What's with all the Plessinger slander lately? Last year he was the first guy to straight up catch and pass Jett outdoors. Runs into some health issues and shit luck and everyone's kicking him while he's down.

I honestly don't believe he thinks or focuses. He just feels and flows. It truly is a magical thing.

Ah, when you said lateral I was thinking side to side, but I guess there would be force pushing the front wheel back towards the motor which would put some force on the seals and bushings.

Is this with or without a wheel chock? Without, the bottom of the tire should be the fulcrum shouldn't it? If the wheel was locked in place then yea, it would be trying to bow the fork between the bottom clamp and the axle.

Hydraulic seals are a lot tougher than most people realize. Dirt getting past the wiper is their kryptonite, the pressure of being held at half travel isn’t going to hurt a healthy seal. And if you see a leak when tied down, the seal is already bad, get some new ones on the way.
