8/18/2023 1:04am IMHO racers want to race the fastest bikes, period. Separate class makes sense if a new technology needs time to develop and maybe eventually reach the level of current tech (see Formula E, MotoE). But if the Varg is already on par with the 450s there would be no point to separate the classes.

My bike hasn’t come in yet, but I was able to borrow my buddy’s Varg for the Motoclimb at Big Hill Jam last weekend. This thing was awesome and a game changer for me, not having to worry about covering the clutch or shifting during my run.

That's my video. The Varg is REALLY amazing to ride. Range so far outlasts me on the MX track so no concern for me! I'm 45 and just ride for fun these days. I'm a 90s 125B rider and still ride about the same level but take less risks. I've been getting around 1% per minute on the track. A soft/tilled track would likely load it up more and use more power. The motor is super impressive in how well connected it feels to throttle input. Super easy to ride. Power above the 55hp setting is insane. The 80hp setting...

As far as range goes I think it would last a full moto with Jett Lawrence riding it on a deep track. Or 1.5-2 hours of me riding on the same track 🤣. Its not a concern for me. I can't ride this thing for an hour straight on an MX track. I can't do more than 30 minutes at any kind of fast pace on any bike so its all good! What is most impressive is the chassis, handling and suspension! Its better than my 21 YZ250F and 23 KTM 350SXF by a good margin. Corners better, better manners...

Might be impossible to ask this and get a straight answer before the haters jump in, but I'm truly curious..... to those who have ridden the bike, do you miss anything about the ICE? The noise? The feel? Anything? Or is it really a non issue? I'm so used to it that it's just hard for me to accept that doing away with it doesn't take away anything at all from the overall experience, but that could be totally my uninformed personal bias. After riding the Varg, I can't say I miss anything about my other bikes. The power is better, the control is better, its easier to ride fast, does not wear you out as fast and makes no noise! Just feels absolutely awesome. I just bought a new 350sxf last month and the Varg just showed up. I decided to ride my KTM and made it 3 laps before putting it away and grabbing the Varg! I can't bring myself to sell my gas bikes but they definitely are going to get a lot less use now.

Rylie Gall!! This fantastic young girl had a rough week and never quit!! Did anyone else notice the 50’s all had the most riders in last moto, great for the future of the sport. LL 2023 Moto Recap Moto 1: 34th gate pick and still got 3rd on the start! Was running 4th and as soon as she passed for 3rd place the bike shut off! Resulting in a DNF 😔 Moto 2: Had 41st gate pick and still came out in like 7th on the start! Got up to 5th and then the sand eventually got in the chain...
