If the fork is in good condition, it shouldn't cause any problems. Some oil can migrate up on top of the free-piston in most modern forks, but it will drain back down as soon as you flip the fork over to install it. The same can happen if you lay the bike (or just the fork) down flat for a few minutes and pick it back up. Otherwise, the cartridges are sealed and so is the outer fork tube assembly.

Only asking $680 for the whole setup! Xtrig was definitely a bit too stiff for my liking. Luxon were good but I didn’t quite get the same feeling as my Ride’s. With these I’m able to throw the fork higher in the clamp and not lose any straight line stability. That being said, it’s allowed me to corner so much better with the higher fork height. Also, on the slapdowns it’s not nearly as stiff on the hands as the others. Especially with soft polyurethanes in there, it’s added a ton more comfort.

I have recently been showing support for the coming Chinese brands, having been shopping for an electric car in Colombia. What they are doing in the car market is pretty astounding and I have no doubt that they can build product at any quality level. would someone send a lowball so i can get it out of my garage please ? I have alot of other excellent parts for this generation including a 3 hour or so completely refurb head with porting / mods etc . Hicomp piston , gaskets, new millineum replated cylinder , bearings etc.

Cool idea! I would think if you poured some concrete in the bucket and cut some thick rubber as protection, there would be less of a chance for it to fall over.
