6/11/2025 10:07am I'm going to be a flagger at this year's Southwick National. I keep telling myself "don't watch the race, monitor your section". With all the talent in the field It'll be a tough task. Throw Herlings in the mix and I'll be at systems overload. JK. Honestly my goal is to not have Anderson yell at me.... or anyone else for that matter. Looking forward to it. 48 years watching and racing at The Wick (first raced there in 1978, attended my first race there in 77) I'm taking this very seriously, as I should.

6/11/2025 10:05am You mean the first few races he was coming back from injury and wasn't at 100%? This weekend is the first time he has been back to at least 90% and it showed lol. 1-1-1. No luck about that.

6/11/2025 10:04am Herlings is coming to Southwick to drink Coors Light and play horseshoes with Webb. Him and Webb will swing a hungover leg over their bikes on Saturday but their main goal is to have a killer time partying while beating 90% of the field.

6/11/2025 10:04am ...so, the last couple of years, Jeffery has not been allowed to race in the USA on off weekends from MXGP? with Sexton leaving KTM as common knowledge now, do they maybe let Herlings come here and mix it up for some good press? Problem is if AMA guys beat him in the sand, will JH racing at southwick be a mistake? Factor in that he is possibly leaving KTM at the end of the year. lots of moving parts here...

6/11/2025 10:03am The strange thing is the best I can tell EKS is mainly a socal thing. I don't see them anywhere else. I recently noticed Josh Mosiman wearing them with his MXA helmet. If the locals that lost a track don't care . . .

6/11/2025 10:03am So...all your moto sh*t made in China via basically slave labor should make you sick...right? But, you still buy it. Save you holier than thou bullshit about how other people should or shouldn't take advert dollars. It's great that you are aware of the company and what they do. The best thing you can do is don't buy them.

6/11/2025 10:02am Just saw a third lawsuit against LACR that I didn't know about. Nina Palomba vs Los Angeles County Raceway Motocross. Anyone know what that one is about?

6/11/2025 10:02am It’s absolutely insane that anyone chooses to support RT/EKS brand goggles. When I see someone wearing them I think that either 1. They are new to the sport and don’t know any better or 2. They are being paid to wear them. Freddie Noren seems like a really good dude. Why the hell does he wear them? Shit even Kyle Chisolm wears them. Why? Doesn’t he understand what he is standing for when he wears them? If I was a pro making, shit idk, $50k plus a year, I would just buy my own goggles instead of wearing something that...

6/11/2025 10:01am Don't know it this has been posted here yet, but the last photo shows Rich's son laying at the bottom of the berm that he went over. Some people falsely claimed it was nearly a sheer cliff that went into a ravine and was arpund 60 feet to the bottom. Doesn't look anything like that to me. . .

6/10/2025 3:09pm In California they have pro prep days & regular (vet prep) days. Not really advertised but pretty well known. Also, all of these tracks have vet tracks open as well. So can always go ride those. They seem to be VERY popular. Monday & Tuesday’s at pala are pro prep, pretty gnarly too. Wednesday’s was Perris but they just stopped doing those. Thursday’s at GH, although that’s slowing down a tad since the series is moving east. Make no mistake GH on a Thursday is always gnarly. Weekends at all those places are usually a vet friendly prep.

6/10/2025 3:09pm Worst thing ever. Idk why this trend started but riding the first 3 hours of the day in straight MUD sucks. By the time the track is dry it’s a 2pm slot car track

6/10/2025 3:08pm I have been lucky enough to be a race mechanic for riders in EMX 250 in Europe, and AMA 250 and 450 class here at home. While the race pace of the AMA series is faster, is it primarily because AMA tracks are smoother and wider than MXGP tracks. AMA racers go balls out from the gate drop to the flag, while MXGP guys find a different pace because of how rough the tracks get. Prado needs a year on the bike and to learn the tracks. the Factory KTM/GG and the Factory Kawi are about as different as two...
