So news of a new trade agreement that encourages Japanese companys to manufacture is the US. I think the US is the largest buyer of offroad motorcycles, do you think it would benefit both manufacture and consumer if they were able to move offroad production to the US? Or is there too much outsourcing that would negate any cost savings. I know some manufactures already produced some products here, but with so many US based teams etc...would it makes sense to bring dirtbike production to the US? A non political question, just a business baesed discussion please. Japan has agreed...

DB is reporting JA21 is done officially at Kawi (see latest vid). This departure (which has not been pretty) and then the Prado situation must make for one miserable rig to be in right now.

I watched privateer Max Miller #79 on a Kawi pass Prado over the new step-up jump with a huge whip right in his face while looking back at him like, "Well?" Prado's reaction? Nada, zip, zilch. Got passed by another dude and finished 19th .

He's getting beat by privateers! Some on mostly stock KX's. Quit making excuses for him. With the 450 class being so depleted, he should be top 5 on a bad day. Hell, Barcia caught and passed him easy. And he's making big money as well. Cruising around in 20th place for half a moto, not even trying on a factory bike is inexcusable for a world champion. It ain't the bike.

If he wasn’t pushing and got 3rd like Jett did, we wouldn’t all be scratching our heads. At no time that I can remember was an uncomfortable Jett 8 seconds a lap off the pace. Uncomfortable or not, at least Jett has some pride.

I don't think there's really any way to argue in favor of whatever Jorge is doing right now. Regardless of your rationalizations, this performance is pretty unprecedented in the "went the wrong way on setup" realm.

I think most are put off by the fact he’s taking no responsibility for the situation in the interviews out there. He’s putting all the blame on the bike. Agree to disagree on your statement that the bike being the key to rider success. I think a great rider can make a bad bike look good, but a bad rider on a great bike doesn’t do the same.

When Sexton was struggling with his KTM set up, did you see him getting beat by privateers? No! Did he cruise around in 20th place for half a moto? No! Did he throw KTM under the bus at every opportunity? No! He rode hard every race despite the problems until they finally got it figured out. . Prado should do the same. He's on a factory bike and getting paid a lot of money to give 100% effort. Not like it's a low dollar privateer gig. And to go back to my quote, I'm not sure at this point he...

13-14-17 Believe it or not, but if he rode like that up here he wouldn't win. Harrison raced up here and I don't remember him winning a 450 race. Nicoletti still hasn't won a race this year and he was putting in better results than that last year. I don't know what the problems are, but he needs to figure them out.

Kawasaki may be doing the same thing. I'm sure for what they're paying him they're trying hard to make the bike work. Comparing him to Chase is apples and oranges. Even when Chase was struggling with the bike, he rode hard and didn't throw KTM under the bus in every interview. And he wasn't getting beat by privateers!
