I understand your point, however 9 months is a stretch. I imagine can KTMs warranty for the same part would have been 3 months, if you lucky.

Considering T4 had been eating fuel pumps up left and right with all the reported problems and recall of batches, adding in E10 fuel, I'm honestly shocked you got 9 months out of it. I had T4 waste a KTM fuel pump in no time flat and have seen so many fuel lines rot in mere months from ethanol. Does it suck, yes. Do I think Nihilo's offer was reasonable? Yes. It's not under warranty and they aren't liable to do anything if they don't want to.

I rode my buddies 350rx at Pala last week. Motor is super old school feeling compared to my 25 ktm 300sx. Beta is full on big bore ding ding ding feeling. Ktm motor is much smoother and faster. But the Beta is pretty cool overall.

I think it's pretty clear this bike was built to satisfy the off-road crowd first, with the X version and the MX version was built from that framework. My guess is that KTM/Husky sell off-road 300s at a rate of 5:1 compared the the MX 300s. Kawasaki knows this.

Just hit 90 hours on my 24 and all I've done is oil and filters. Planning on checking the valves soon, but it still starts instantly when I hit the button.

Me Too! The point of this thread along with the previous thread regarding the tranmission issue's is to let Triumph know if I lose you lose. I am starting to think they knew of the problems when they reduced a 10999 bike to what i paid which much less. I don't appreciate that crap. I have raced moto since 1974, I'm 61 years old and still faster than most of the punks making these idiotic comments. I may lose this one but so will Triumph!!!!!

Man I'm sorry. That legitimately sucks. A local dealership had some of these at reduced prices but I avoided them due to all the issues I've heard about. Bought a Beta 2T instead. There's a weirdness on this forum if you say anything bad about a manufacturer, but...Triumph is dropping the ball here. It's the same reason I ditched KTM/GG/HQ. I emailed them with a known con rod issue, pics in hand with the word of a reputable engine repair guy, and they ghosted me.
