All the racers moved from California to Florida just in time for Florida to adopt California thinking.

Does anyone know of any aftermarket silencers that are rubber mounted so they don’t break your subframe? I’m in the market.

Added reply in a thread When to sell your bike to get the most value out of it? 10/21/2020 5:37 AM

The longer you keep it, the more value YOU will get out of it. If you want to get the most money for a bike when you sell it, the sooner you sell it, the more you will get out of it. Seems pretty obvious. With 40 hours on a 450, the thing is barely broken ... more »

Is that the stock exhaust? I think it has been discussed in depth here that the current generation KX450 needs a rubber mounted silencer to avoid damaging the subframe. My understanding is that there are aftermarket silencers that meet this requirement. ... more »

The KX450 won the very first 450 shootout of the year this year (Swap Moto Live), and now that Vital MX figured out how to use a calculator, they won that one, too. Undefeated at this point. For those of you that went from a 19-20 to a 21, was the clutch ... more »

Can’t it be subpoenaed? If the cop really did run that guy over for riding an unregistered 35mph scooter, you can bet there will be a lawsuit. Sad part is, if that’s what happened, it won’t be the cop that pays. Just like in Louisville, that burden will ... more »

Hell, yeah! He’s my boy. Last I knew he was working for UPS. I have a sweet painting of Jake and his teammate Aaron Yates that the Jordan team sent to team sponsors. I have it hanging in my boy’s room.

You don’t know what you’re talking about. Nicky won two races, including his home race at Laguna Seca that I was fortunate enough to watch while sitting next to Michael Jordan at the Red Bull hospitality in turn one. Good times... RIP champ.

I have a Motion Pro 49mm fork seal driver for my KX450. I have a buddy that wants me to help him change his fork seals on his YZ250F that calls for a 48mm seal driver. Will my driver work for his fork?

Canyon Hills would be good, too, but the security of a gated community might be worth the squeeze to someone with a garage filled with motorcycles in the “9”. For someone that doesn’t have a heated pool, the cost difference of the utilities would be ... more »

I made it through a sobriety checkpoint one evening in Bullhead City, AZ after single-handedly taking down an 18 pack on Lake Mojave that day. That made me a fan.

If I was having problems with my clutch that I never had before switching to cheap aftermarket parts, I would probably consider it a lesson learned and buy OEM parts to get back to where I was.

One might have nothing to do with the other, but I just yesterday heard that this week Suzuki laid off 1/3 of their field sales and service force. Such a bummer.

Valid point, for sure. RCH was an experiment to see if non-endemic sponsors would see enough promotional value in winning races to justify the expense of fielding a bike and rider capable of winning. Apparently the answer was no.

The bulletproof setup I have on my KX450 is: X-ring chain TM Designworks slide and glide kit Dirt Tricks lightweight steel sprockets. That drivetrain will outlast the engine.
