It's basically a 1:1 copy of the old carb KTM motor, on a copy of a couple generations old KTM frame. Hengjian offers the same as the S7-z300 and the S6-z300 is a straight up Husky copy in both linkage and plastic design. Muira offers a non linkage version with Husky plastics called the e300 if you really want to confuse people. And you can also buy one already imported with mildly different plastics as a GPX TSE300.
Basically, pick your color/plastic type and you can find one, but they're all copies of the carb era ktm/husky enduro bikes.
Yeah, I forgot about the GPX, looks just like it without the enduro lights…
So the question I have, what/who owns the actual factory that makes the bikes that are sold under the many different brands?

From what I can work out, the company is called Chongqing Yuantai Motorcycle Industry Co., Ltd. and/or Chongqing Hengjian Motorcycle Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The factory is registered under Yuantai, the actual company with a product line and a website seems to be Hengjian.
The "owner"/chairman/legal representative, a Shui Zongcai, comes up for both Yuantai and Hengjian.
I am IP/geo blocked from investigating the sources on the second link any further, and really can't be bothered to circumnavigate all that just dig around about some chinese dirt bikes lol

I find that interesting. The actual mfg appears to sell in China. But uses 40 different private label import/export companies to sell around the world.
This is quite common for electronics for example, but something like a dirt bike typically has its own unique DNA. Selling the same bike under multiple brands doesn’t seem like solid business model. Although we do see it in the pit bike market. But those are acknowledged as cheap China bikes.
These are getting up to 2/3 or even 3/4 of the price of a premium bike.

They sign an agreement to share it in return for manufacturing in China. Thats why they dont sue...they agreed to all that. Alot of people think China steal it when in reality, its shared so they can manufacture there. Fwiw
In very narrow circumstances this may be the case, but your generalization is waaaaaay off base, and inconsistent with reality. They dont sue because there is no effective way to do so. The Chinese are 100% IP thieves at the highest state-sponsored level on down.
Yeah I’ll be getting some of those yellow plastics and mounting them to my KTM. For sure.

It’s true…. It wasn’t so bad when they took on Husky. But they completely fornicated the pooch with GasGas and Husaberg. Basically buying the brand to eliminate a competitor and doing nothing with it.
